How's everyone doing?
Hi everyone, the board has been pretty quiet as of late so I thought I'd just say hi and see how everyone is getting on.
Today was National Poetry Day ini New Zealand and our library ran a poetry reading event in conjunction with the local Starbucks cafe. We had about 30 people turn up which is a pretty good number. We had lots of printed out poems for people to read and once everyone got warmed up that worked really well. About 3 or 4 people even read some of their own stuff which was tremendous. (Yours truly was too chicken to take any along!)
Anyway it might end up a regular event - here's hoping!

Re: How's everyone doing? Just popping in to say Hello and how are things going? James, is there anything in the future about your books being sold in the US?
Its summer time here in the East (US), and whether one is reading on the porch, walking through the woods, the weather has been quite accommodating

I think that boards go through a "slump" period, just as when a baseball player is in a slump
And during the summer months, folks are outside and not as busy on the computer.
Also, its good for the boardhost to send invitations to other boardhosts every so often, it helps keep the board alive.
Now, saunter over to my places, kick off your shoes and just relax!
