How would you "fuel" food competiton day????
Hi Darrin,
The day before a figure show and the day of-what do you recommend so there isn't any spill over effect?

Without giving too much info (basic info is one thing but contest info is another) you should be so carb depleted the day before the show that the carbs you eat would be sucked up by the muscles and stored as glycogen. Typically it would take almost 72 hours of consuming more than double your maintenance level of carbs in order for you to spill over if you have depleted properly.

LOL.. "you should be so carb depleted"(translation: You would kill for piece of dried baked potato) Thanx for the advise Darrin:b Now I know I have to be in killer mode the day before the comp...shees I better live in isolation:evil

It does help as i am soooo freaked about the spill over!!!! I hold back on the carb load a little :D
