Hey, Old Auntie-Lady
I heard through the grapevine that a certain "crazy-lady" person of your acquaintance was taking over the screening process for the Academy, seeing as a certain "apple-polishing gilded dodo" had permanently left the service. He and his wife have moved Back East, and TPTB have "asked" her to take over the roll. Anywho, the end result is that the standards for entrance are probably going to become a lot more friendly, though not a lot easier, necessarily. She's hoping that people who were put off by the gilded one might be interested in re-applying. They'd be welcome, at any rate.

Thought you'd like to know.

Re: Hey, Old Auntie-Lady
Thanks for the gossip. I'll let those that want, know about things.

Pass it on that there seems to be a settling down here in Limbo. Somehow, I think I've become saddled with the Gang of hooligans. Especially since Snagglepuss is still out of the picture. I hope not. I'd hate to have to square off against the Birdies here. I know way to much and it would mean I'd have to pull a lot of punches to keep people alive. On both sides.

Other wise, it's business as usual.

By the way, Any good news about Hondo & Babycakes yet?

Old Auntie.

Would you believe a matched set, and under they're own power, if you catch my drift. Auntie Krys had some minor surgery to repair some damage, and look out! Twins at two o'clock! Trade-off, though. Too much strain on her system, so no more kids the old-fashioned way. But they're so happy with what they have, they aren't missing what they don't. I know. Take a lesson, right?

I'm up to my ankles in brothers (2, and I htink that's all she wrote) Cute buggers, too. Look like my dad. I did mention we have sort of polarized bloodlines, yes? No 'her nose, his chin' thing going here. Just the spooky-eyes.

I'm getting invites right and left to sing covers on the coast. If I ever get a schdule together, and drop you a copy and you can swing by if you're of a mind. I've been told I peel paint from the walls pretty well.

Congrats, On both cases. *Chuckles*

Tell Hondo to be on the look out for something from New Eden. He can keep it or sell it. Doesn't matter to me, But I can tell you that Wood work from there is very high in demand. Especally a matched set of furniture. Cradles, rockers, dressers.. The works. It should come under the seal of the Duchess of Huntington. There will also be an offer of a job if he ever wants it. The New Eden Military can use all the good Pilots and instructors they can get their hands on.

Sorry but the Crazy lady can have her hubby get her own *LOL*

Would you believe there's a rugrat that roams about Fense that happens to look remarkably like the Golden Boy? I'm keeping an eye on the kid and making sure he's going to be a hellion when he gets older. But he's also going to get the best education he can.

Sweet Revenge, Oh how I love it.

Now that the cast is off my wrist, if you ever need an extra guitarist let me know, I'll see if I can show up.

Old Auntie

PS. Winter Fire sends his greetings. *G* I think he's kinda smitten with you since he meet you back on earth.

I'll let Auntie and Uncle know. The kids are hardly babies anymore, but heirlooms have to start somewhere, right? Mom had to beat Dad's family off with a stick (rowanwood, of course) to keep them from turning up some really strange gifts. ("No, I don't think a trio of sirens to announce him everywhere he goes would be appropriate, but thank you for the thought.") Then Auntie had to get Mom to holster her own platinum card when the twins arrived. ("Rorie, we do have money of our own, I promise you.")

So GB may have left a little indiscretion behind... Interesting. Wonder if his wife knows. Mom says that Saoirse knows about Diana etc., but a living breathing child is so much different. I wonder if it would be worth trying to run some tests. The military records have a complete genetic scan on file, if it even becomes necessary.

When I get ready to cut something, I'll give you a ring. Might depend on the contract. First album will almost certainly be with the company's studio band (they have to find work for them somewhere) but I may be able to get more freedom when I prove to be the hot new thing. (Huberis? What's that? :) )

Hello there right back to Winter Fire. He's welcome to smit all he wants. Good-natured flirting is never amiss. :)

Somehow I don't think even GB knew about that one. Didn't help matters that I paid the childs mother to keep quiet.*Innocent Whistle* Both are going to be relocating to New Eden. Plenty of land and such. The Kids already gotten a nickname of SilverFire *snerks* and has a thing for flying. I don't know how many times I've caught him perched up on the ledges about Fense. I'm going to hate to hear what he gets into over then next few years. Next time I'm on New Eden I may take him up hang gliding.

If you can't catch me here in Limbo then Call the Ducal Palace, Huntington, New Eden and ask for Zan. If the ask who you are just tell them and they should patch you though to me.

As for WinterFire *LOL* I'll let him do his own flirting form now on *EG* and don't worry, he's polite and will more then likely ask your parent's permission if he wants to take anything to a more serious level. He knows that his own parents will lay into him if he doesn't.

O.A.

Well, still, if the child is his, then he needs to step up an support him wherever he lives. (Sorry. Think I channeled my mother for a minute there.) And as the oldest and at this point only child, he has to be trained and educated to be ready to inherit his father's holdings -- (Okay, Dad. Get out of my head. This is MY conversation.) Sorry about that. Nosy gits. (Yes, I mean YOU) Ugh. Okay. I seem to be all alone in here now. Nothing like 24-hour parental surviellance. "He knows all, sees all, lectures endlessly about you life. The new and improved Dad-bot."

Feel free to give David my e-mail addy if he'd like it, but in all fairness, I'm going to be out of touch for a little while. I'm making the pilgrimage to visit Oncle and there's no e-mail access at his place. No cell phone either. Or electricity, for that matter. If I couldn't wiggle my fingers well, I'd be in a pretty sad state. I don't do primative as well as I used to. :)
