Helpless
Rhiannon buried her head in her arms, willing the images of carnage to go away. She wanted to retch, and not even butterbeer was helping. No one could help.

Rhiannon gripped her necklace tightly. It warmed in her hand. Ever since the attacks began, it had been glowing violet. Danger! Danger! It said. Rhiannon walked to the window and looked out at the oblivious street. Could they hear nothing?

Re: Helpless
Aldon was absolutly tired and hungry, he had escaped the school with his life after so many had failed to do so, the unlucky ones. Having escaped the school he headed straight for the looming trees of the ominious Dark Forest, there he would walk for what seemed like forever, he had not bothered to keep up with the time during his long painful walk.
Lyra and Messume were in no better shape. They were fidgity and restless in his arms which could no longer lift their weight, as the time grew their bodies seemed to do so as well.

It was all by luck that Aldon was able to attract the attention of a fleeing group of older students on brooms, by setting off a distress singnal. A signal that just barely made it through the Lush vegetation of the tree tops. As one older boy lowered himself through the trees, very carefully to 'retrive' Aldon, he seemed what could only be described as happy to help the younger boy, it was a strange irony that when disaster strikes that it should bring people together.

Now he was merely reflecting on the situation as his broom ride came to an end in the Village of Hogsmeade, behind him was a beseiged school, no a home, were many friends had no doubt died, while he had escaped.

He felt as though he could compare the dark situation, with the dark doings of the Drow in the Realm last year, though both had their own horrors and wounds that could not sown. Though Comparison was impossible, one semetrical aspect grew in Aldons mind, he had survived both...

Now landed and departed from his saviours, he had really no idea what to do next, looking up the streets of Hogsmeade he saw a comforting sight, The Three Broomsticks. Here he had spent many a time of laughter and fun, memories that were now so far away, dead on a classroom floor as fire surrounded a lifeless courpse, the memories lost.

Entering the warm room he noticed someone near a window, a friend. His heart lept in joy glad to see that Rhiannon Aithne had escaped the terrors of the school. " Rhiannon!...Rhiannon!, i though you might not have made it out of the School...the common room was destroyed, i just thought that..." he lost the words in mid sentence and stood silent near the door.

Re: Helpless
Pieter stumbled into his favorite cafe of all times, but now was not the time to think about happiness. A bandage around his legs and head had stopped the bleeding he had gotten by the wild attacks of Loki while she was blinded, he had escaped, but he would return.

Slowly Pieter marched to Rhiannon and Aldon, all the children he had sent here where being taking care of, the first time History Of Magic actually helped him, the Three Broomsticks had once been a headquarter, so it would very well serve this purpose.

"Hello, Rhiannon, Aldon,"Pieter said as he reached the table,"One of you, actually Rhiannon, wouldn't have something I lend to her, has she?"

The young prefect was too tired to be polite or anything, he probably would be needing his cloak later or maybe in a few seconds. He should have died, just like Rolla, just like Celest, just like Mikey, why didn't he...?

((erm, Hogsmeade is closer, I want to stay here. It's enough I didn't get myself killed but running like a chicken?*snorts*XD))

Re: Helpless
Adaria slid into The Three Broomsticks, the heavy doors banging shut with a thud. She glanced around. She would have glared at the dozens of people, naive in their bliss, if she had the energy. The people who didn't know that right as they took that sip of butterbeer, a life ended and no one was doing anything to stop it. Could they not tell something was going on? She stared out a window at the castle. It wasn't too far away, and it looked perfectly normal. Adaria quickly looked away from the castle, fear, dread and guilt clutching at her heart like a cold metal hand. Her face looked hollow, haunted almost, her already pale skin like parchment. Her eyes were dull, devoid of life. Walking mechanically, she seated herself at a table near the back, away from the people, away from the other survivors, and away from the loud, ignorant laughter that seemed about to drive her mad.

She folded her arms on the table, using them as a pillow, willing herself go to sleep and block out the madness, the insanity of it all but unable to. Every time she shut her eyes she saw bloody, mangled bodies, fire, terrified students struggling through an ankle deep sea of blood as they tried to escape, only to find Lyddie or one of the others waiting around the corner with a maniacal grin. All she could hear was the shrill screams of the students and the possessed laugh of the killers. Adaria gulped, feeling her own throat tighten. Why was I spared? How come when so many others died, I came out alive? She didn't know the answers, but she couldn't stop asking herself. It made her feel guilty to be sitting in the warm restaraunt instead of lying motionless in a pool of blood on the cold stone like so many others, that she had done nothing to help. She propped her elbows up on the table, holding her head in callused, slightly bloody hands that made her feel that by not doing anything to help, she'd snuffed a life out like a candle without a second thought as well.

Adaria had switched off, running, transforming and running, and hovering. It had taken longer that it would've if she'd had a broom, but she didn't care. She was here. She was alive. Gasping and trying to catch her breath but alive. If her father's lessons had sunk in, that's all that would matter to her, but she kept seeing those corpses. People that had been laughing with their friends one minute lying lifeless on the floor the next. Adaria groaned, pressing her palms into her eyes. Could these people not see the strange array of battered, bloody students gathered in the restaraunt? Adaria wrenched her eyes shut, her face twisting and contorting in pain.

oh...
Rhiannon saw other children enter the three broomsticks. Relief flooded through her, and she almost smiled. Almost. She recognized Aldon. He was bloody and a bit beaten, but he was alive.

Rhiannon saw Pieter and hopped up from her seat. From around her broom she unwrapped his cloak, passing it to him without words.

"Thank you. I didn't even think to use..." Her voice trailed off and she glanced at Aldon and a newcomer. She gave a faint smile. Her black hair flowed over her shoulder and her violet eyes sparkled with an unknown truth. She hadn't thought to use her changing abilities, but she was safe now. Rhiannon's necklace glowed at her throat.

Rhiannon lifted her chin, wondering vaguely to herself. Why didn't grandmother know? Selena always knew everything. Did she truly want her heir to die? It seemed to be so.

Re: oh...
Aldon watched as Rhiannon handed Pieter back his cloak, and was relieved to know that he had survived the onslaught up at the school. How he had escaped was probobly another long story full of hardship and trial, most likely it would involve a once trusted student gone bad.

It was all to confusing to comprehend at this moment.

"Its good to see you Pieter...with all thats going on..." Aldon was inturupted by the arival of someone else, Raven.

Aldon had met up with her in the crumbling school and had wondered breifly if she had escaped, and now he knew. He was somehow relieved again.

Re: oh...
Pieter looked at Raven in the corner of his eyes, another sparkle for another student who made it.

"I escaped using a new spell, we're in trouble. They're destroying the castle. I think it's Peregrin and Loki appears to be a Phiobian faerie, the joy of it all."He said as sarcastic as possible, frowning his head.

Why where they doing this? Just to get back at Carmilla, or was it more. Pieter wanted to find out, but he didn't know how, maybe he should return to the now dreaded place...

((Bad...))

Re: oh...
((no one is replying:( , so I'm moving to Diagon Alley thingy*nids*))

Suddenly it became very quiet, without realizing it, Pieter had been staring at the fireplace. But with this sudden silence, he waked up and knew what to do.

"I'm going to Diagon Alley, maybe the rest of the students are there. I maybe need some other things anyway, I don't know what it is, but I have to get back there."Pieter said, raising from his chair and getting out some Floo Powder.

"Crowe's Nest!"

Pieter threw some Powder into the burning fire and named his destination as the burning plasma turned green. As he felt the pleasant warmth shrouding around his body, he realized he could have done this without using the fireplace.

"I'll see you all later."he said to everyone, putting more then enough confidence into his words although he wasn't sure they disserved it...

((I think I used a lot of doubleminded thingies, erm, yes, change is good*shuffles away*))
