Hello
Hello everyone just wnated to say hi, i've been looking at this web page for years and think it awesome, i've had many experiences going to the sideling hill and rays hill tunnels, its awesome just being there and to think at one time vehicles used it, we have a hunting camp less than 5 minutes away from the turnpike and we usually visit it everytime we r up, i'd say the best way to get to sideling hill tunnel from breezewood, is to take 30 east until you get to 915 north, take 915 till you start going down the mountain at one point on 915 you r directly above the tunnel, there is a lookout to the left, well anyway, getting back to the directions, keep going down the mountain till you come to oregon road on your left, go down the road till you come to the foresters headquarters its a log cabin, park along side the road there, then walk up toward the yellow gate and just follow that trail till you come to the turnpike, also while you walk that trail look for the old railroad ties and rails, also across from the log cabin is a road that loops around, if you go on that there are old foundations of houses that once were there, there is also an old chimney, its a really neat place around that area full of history, if anyone knows anything else about the area let me know, thanks
