Have you Ever been in a Serious Accident?
i got my Driver Licence on Jan 5 1996....... Jan 6 1996...... it was a nice winter night and i was with my Girlfriend at the time... we went out Driving around... had some fun! then about 9pm it started to snow.... i said screw this lets go home (back to her place) because i didn't want to get stuck in a Snow Storm yet! so i come to a Parking Lot.. K Mart in Middle Island..... i was gonna use the parking lot to make the U-Turn so i didn't have a chance of gettting into an accident! well the Parking lot was all bumpy and stuff... had alot of hard snow in it...... but the way around the building was Clear! so i went that way! well as i get to the back of the building it starts to go Down Hill.... well i start going down and i know there is a Stop Sign at the bottom....so i tap my breaks and my car starts to swerve.... my GF is like DON"T DO THAT! i said i didn't do it on purpose.... but i got control of the car again! so i start down the rest of the hill... i tap my breaks again and this time the Black ice is a Sheet down the entire hill....... now when you get to the Bottom of the Hill to the Stop sign... the Street to go straight is about 10' to the right..... directly infront of you at the stop sign is a bunch of trees..... well i continued to slide down the hill totally out of Control! and fly through the Stop Sign and directly accross the street! i was some how able to steer between 3 trees.... but i wedged my Camaro in between several of them! i bent the frame and had alot of body damage..... but both of us were fine!
2 weeks later or so.... i was at her house this time..... and its starting to snow again... about 9 on a Sunday! so i said let me go now before it starts to really snow and i get into the same situation as a few weeks prior! so i get into my Camaro and think... what would be the Safest way home? down a few hills and dark roads? take the main roads but its alot longer and still some hills.... or take the LIE a few exits and then RT 112 all the way home! i figured the HWY is the safest way home! its smooth and its got lights and so on! so i go to the HWY and it has this HUGE C Curve to get on the HWY Side Road.... so i figure i get past that i'll be home safe in 15 or 20 mins.... so i drive on the curve about 10 miles an hour if that.... go real slow to avoid anything from happening again! well i make it off! i was happy and figured to be home clear basicly! well as i'm in the Merging Lane going into the Right Lane of the Side Road..... i cross an over pass...... as my left tire touches the right lane to merge it comes out from under me.... i spin to my left.... i tried to steer out of it and spun the other way and did 2 360s and rolled backward under the guard rail and Damaged the Car some more..... Fire Truck was passing and stopped to help me... the car was still functional.... so they helped pull the car out and i got in and drove home abuot 5 mph all the way! safe again! but had with in the first month of my having a Licence..... i had 2 incidances with Black ICE! and it SUCKED!!!!! but at least we weren't hurt in them!
Last December i was working in NJ and on my way home to Long Island i was about 10 miles from home and Fell asleep at the wheel and less then a 1/4 mile from my exit (Exit 63) i plowed into the Back of a Car and was shot across the HWY and had to stear back.... i had Whip Lash and Torn Ligements in my Neck!
nothing yet (thank God) but then again i haven't got my license yet.

the car was full but not everyone in my family was there. everyone is fine now (my grandfather past away though). i broke my clavicle, got a deep cut on my knee, and a bruise on my head. im fine now.

Re: Have you Ever been in a Serious Accident?when i was 18 i got into an accident i rear ended a lady because master cynlinder went out... then at 23 this guy was over half a mile down the road and said i pulled out in front of him.... i got a ticket but no scratches on my car
at 24 this drunk driver on her way to an AA meeting hit me in the rear.... go figure and said she did not do it... i guess the phantom car and driver did... at 25 a girl at christmas backed into my car saying i did not warn her i was there.... i suppose i should have sent out the police station ahead of me.... at 26 thanksgiving weekend a girl sideswiped me saying i was in her way.... and that is my luck...
