Have 2 post now: Nothing works for me. What a pity!
I have installed WW on my Linux Mandrake 9.1 Box with the
latest patches. It is 1.14b. First of all: I cannot stand seeing this piece of work but not playing it. It really has the atmospehere one can wish. Good job! Gives me some 'duck you sucker' feeling. But now to my complaints:
1. I cannot log to WW games through the RtCW gamebrowser. To play WW I have to launch RtCW with wolfmp +set fs_game WildWest. But I can stand that. Perhaps I missed sth?
2. Too few people seem to be interested in WW. Just 2 servers runnnig it with less then 3 People on them as maximum? What a pity! I would join them if I could...!!
3. I cannot log to one of the gameservers.
RTCWWorld.comWildWestMod1.14 always has the harmonica map loaded. I can log to it but never get further the launching screen. There ist no error message on the console. I have to esc.
The Lone Wolf 1.4 beta complains Client/Server mismatch WW_1141/WW_1400 and mp_pak03.pk3 mp_pakbin03.pk3 missing. I didn't find one of them inany of the archives I downloaded. I copied the dir WildWest in the wolfenstein dir to "wildwest". Do I have to upgrade to WW version 1.4 ?? This version doesn't exist yet, does it?
Maybe there is some help for me outthere. I promise: I will join you if I can!!

I should add this: I ran the hacienda and bank robbery maps in server mode on my box and they worked. But I didn't meet anybody else than a piano player...

Hi,
The missing files are because we are currently testing a new
version of WildWest.
The RtCWWorld.com server needs to be reset (I have asked the admin over a week ago )
There is the easyconnect server however, which is still
running 1.14b
but since most of our regulars are taking part in the beta
testing, you'll most likly find this server empty
We expect, when we release 1.4, to get more servers & players
We believe version 1.4 is a big leap in terms of fun & quality,
and we'll be doing a lot of promotion when we release.

I am looking forward to 1.4 then! Can't wait to get in the saddle.
When do you think 1.4 will be released?

I'm not goning to give a definate date for public release,
because of possible unforseen problems :/
However, if you would like to help test 1.4 with us,
all you need to do is to agree to give some honest
feedback, and send me an e-mail, with a subject of
"I wanna be a tester" and I will give you the details
