Hal vs. Hiro
Solidus Epsilon landed in front of Senzio in a rather large, open field. “The enemy will not hold back,” Hal said through the com-screen, “I expect the same from you.” Hiro nodded in response, signaling the start of the spar.
Solidus Epsilon ran parallel to Senzio, shooting a barrage of linear fire in its direction. Hiro held the triggers down on his controls, answering with his beam Vulcan and linear rifle. The tattered wings that rested upon Solidus Epsilon’s back came to life, with a roar Hal’s MS took to the sky. Senzio followed suit with equal speed. The two mobile suits exchanged fire that with anymore accuracy would cause heavy damage. However, the speeds at which their verniay wings carried them, Hiro and Hal managed to avoid each other’s shots. With the same idea in mind, they ceased fire and charged full speed into a power struggle. Locked fist in iron fist, Solidus Epsilon kicked Senzio twice in the abdomen breaking the grapple. Hal’s Megadriver converted from a linear gatling gun into a linear sword. Hiro ignited his own linear saber, ready for some melee combat. Senzio moved faster than Solidus Epsilon when it came to slicing and dicing but Hal read each movement and parried with ease. Hiro flew back and fired with his linear rifle before flying in with a quick slash. Hal swiftly jerked the controls and narrowly missed the attack. Senzio readied for another strike and flew past Solidus Epsilon in hopes of getting in a good hit. Hal almost smiled at this poor attempt at guerilla warfare. Senzio passed one more time before Solidus Epsilon chased after. Hiro pulled back on the controls and suddenly whipped around with his beam tail, hoping to catch Hal off guard. The Megadriver cut the beam in half, demonstrating the superiority linear technology had over beam. Solidus Epsilon lashed out with its right arm using its combination of gundanium daggers and heat shotels as claws to put a nice gash across Senzio’s chest region. Hiro’s MS staggered back in mid-air completely open for another strike. A gem, positioned atop Solidus Epsilon’s forehead, lit up in a brilliant display of color and shot a concentrated beam of light past Senzio’s head.
“What the…?!” Before Hiro could finish his sentence, he felt his MS in the grasp of Hal’s makeshift claw. Doing a somersault, Solidus Epsilon released Senzio headfirst towards the plain below. Hiro whipped his controls around and landed feet first on dry soil. The momentum weighed heavily on the MS as its legs buckled under the pressure. Hiro let out a yell as Senzio crashed and skidded along the grassy field before coming to a complete stop. He kicked around the inside of his cockpit in a rage, “Why? Why? Why?! Every freakin’ time!” Solidus Epsilon landed above Senzio with his Megadriver pointed directly at Hiro’s cockpit. “Game over.” Hal said with a smirk.
