Guild Competition (1)
GUILD CONTEST
Welcome to The Magic of Discworld’s first Guild Competition! We hope to have a competition of some sort every two months. This will be a way for the Guilds to participate in a little bit of friendly competition. So—get in the spirit and get ready to WIN (or lose)!
The contests will be diverse so that different talents can be used. This one will be a fanfiction challenge. Here are the rules—
1) No more than 3000 words
2) Must contain references to
--Pineapples
--Hex
--Butter
--A cuckoo clock
--Sand
3) Must ‘star’ someone from the Unseen University
4) Must have SOME sort of plot (lenient here)
5) Most importantly—must make us laugh
Basically, have fun and be crazy, because we all are here. The Guild can get together and write this, or each member can submit individually.

I suppose that I should pick a date to end this...oh...say...*picks randomly* February 3rd! Well, three is my favorite number and I know I'll be too busy to look at anything b/c of a blasted FL trip for band (maybe we can run the director over with the bus. Yeah. We have to take busses). And the Superbowl is on when we're down there! And the Packers might go this year! (Cue for all non-citizens of the US to snort and roll eyes)
Right, digression, I know. Well, be creative and we'll give you something easier next time...like trivia or something. If you don't try hard, we'll think of something worse!

I just realized something we're lacking, besides a due date. Your finial product can either be emailed to us (magic_of_discworld@yahoo.com) or posted in your guild forum. If you're working on it as a group and have an idea/ rough draft forum please lable it as such, anything just so we can tell which is the finial.
Aren't we the organized admins here?

guild competition
i have to ask this question.
i have ben looking at the "Last replied" dates, and i am starting to wonder, are any other guilds even aware this competition exists?
i know we theives have at least Something, but it appears that none of the other guilds are even active, let alone writing
please let me know if i am majorly wrong, but if i am not, u might like to tell them they have about 10 days to come up with something
P.s. u guys are fine administrators, u just don't have many active posters. u can't be an effective administrator if u have no-one to administrate

Yeah, the other guilds are a bit dead, you're right (dang assassins! hehe) I sent out notice of the contest, but you can see the response.
