Graviora-Manent
Welcome to Graviora Manent- or, more popularly known as, Gravim Institute.
Who We Are
Welcome to the year 2003- roughly five years after the destruction of Voldemort, Hogwarts, and Harry Potter. Yes, you heard me. In 1997, Voldemort attacked Hogwarts- with the intentions of ending it all. However, he was not expecting a fully-summoned Order and the full strength of the Aurors. Eventually- Voldemort was brought down. He also took Hogwarts, and everyone inside, with him. Which eventually led to the creation of Gravim Institute for Wizardy and Witchcraft. One of the most elite, strict, orderly, secure, and brilliant schools in the world. (A reputation that is not to be taken lightly from a school that is merely five years old.) Things are very different from Hogwarts- as you will soon learn. So come, join us, and live life while you can, because greater dangers await us all.
Behind the Plotline
Graviora has a different focus then most RPGs- we don't entirely rely upon fantastic plots and flawless RPing. (Although both of these things are very good just the same.) Our focus is upon our members- especially the new ones. I, for one, have noticed a constant flaw in almost all RPGs- their inability to create a member base, or even then, create on that can adapt and evolve along with its new members. Simply, an RPG's members can't get friendly enough starting out, or an RPG becomes too focused upon its older members and traditions. Frankly, I'm personally tired of the whole deal. Which is why Gravim's first priority will be building a member base where no one's an "outsider" and where newbies are always welcome and capable of breaking into the RPG.
What's Going On Now
Hey kids- the OOC boards are open and ready to go. Applications are just starting, so hurry up quick and be the first one to apply. The early bird is the er.. happy/succesful/not eaten/surviving/something good bird/RPer!
So come, join us, because those 'greater dangers' are just another part of our ordinary day at Gravim Institute....
