Do you guys know anywhere thats good to take the toddlers/kids these holidays? Somewhere preferrably not too expensive thats easy to get to via Public Transport?

The zoo isnt to bad so is scitech, both cost $10-15 and kids under 3 or 4 are free. A walk along the river especially the south perth side is great too because there are so many playgrounds to discover. Cant think of anywhere else right now but Ill get back to you with more :)

i'm pretty sure if you check out the website www.quolkids.com.au they have a 'what to do' list for kids in perth.

or you could do a search on citysearch.com.au for what's on in perth at certain times of the year for kiddies :)

hope this helps!

heathcoate and point walter are awesome! how could i forget about them!? i took jordan to heatcoate last year, and have the most gorgeous photo of him and i there!
we used to go for family picnics all the time at point walter when i was younger. go fishing, swimming, etc... this one time my brothers are i were swimming with our boogie boards :rollin and i saw this fin swishing thru the water and thought it was a shark so we all raced back outta the water... and it turned out to be just a dolphin.... hehehe. silly me :)

Kings Park is always good and I'm pretty sure there's a bus that goes up there...I went to the western park playground (the playground with the lake) and it has changed soooo much since the last time I was there! It's so cool now!all the play equipment has changed and there's dinosaurs round the park too. We should all meet up there for a bbq one weekend...
