Good Luck Darrin!
I met Darrin at the gym where we work about 5 years ago. I went back to work to get sanity after my 2 kids were born and decided that I wanted a free gym membership, so why not? I started as a front desk "gal" and very quickly realized how much Darrin knew about fitness and diet. Some days, mind you, I wished he would have been less honest, but in hindsite he told me exactly what I needed to hear.
I won $1000 at work to be spent at the gym about 3 years ago. Instead of buying clothes and tanning products, I walked righ to the front desk and spent every cent on training with Darrin. Talk about a life changing day. 5 weeks of training and dieting and I felt great. I couldn't spend enough time asking question after question. (I still do it!)
I enjoyed training and the ability to take control of my body so much, I became a trainer myself a little over a year ago. I have a full schedule of clients that I too can, to a lesser degree, teach about fitness the "right way".
For most of you reading this message, you have access to Darrin and his wealth of information via this message board. I have had the opportunity to learn from Darrin every workday. What a tremendous gift it has been!
Darrin, I wish you and Lori-Ann everything you both have every dreamed of coming true. Thank you for being the boss and friend that everyone would appreciate. You'll be missed!
