Akujin and Xiefall exited the ship as Auray waved them off. Xiefall laughed, “Finally, some fun!” Akujin nodded, “Tell me about it.” They continued a brief conversation on there way to the interception point. Auray guided them along, “Here’s the current route of the ship and its destination,” The areas were highlighted on a digital map. “Sneak up behind them and get the drop.” Xiefall nodded, “A simple smash and grab job.” “Not so, there are plenty of enemies, most in mobile suits, I don’t know how many will be inside. I advise you both, take extreme caution when engaging them. I want that ship back, too.” Akujin smirked, “Sounds good, boss. I’m cutting off radio contact, see ya when we get back.”
Approaching the ship from behind, the duo turned their jets to full. An MS following up the rear of the artillery ship turned to encounter his adversary. It was already too late, Ocelot and Elocution diced through the suit, leaving it in thirds. They split at the back and took up the men on the sides. Ocelot, with its linear saber drawn, hacked at the lowly Taurus. It too had a saber of its own. The Taurus swung high but Ocelot batted away the attack and cut the MS straight through its mid-section. Akujin felt exhilarated! His anger, his rage, and his paranoia slipped away to the hand of battle. The next opponent he seemed to toy with, drawing back as he was being attacked. His enemy came down with an overhead slash; Ocelot strafed and cut off its arms at the elbow. Akujin laughed as he systematically sliced apart the weaponless suit. In his Elocution, Xiefall was fairing well on his own. His first face-off started with a few parries but ended with a driving thrust through the cockpit. Xie’s next victim stepped up with a flurry of swipes that were easily dodged. The Elocution blocked a blow to its left and deflected one to his right and then counterstriking with an array of slashes that ended with his opponent in pieces. Ocelot raced up to the two remaining MS’s up front. Ducking under a swing then decapitating the opposing Taurus, Ocelot kicked hard sending the MS into the other resulting in both of them exploding. “Akujin, is that it?” questioned Xie. “It looks like it, not very heavily guarded, eh?” As if by cue, two more suits exited from the docking bay giving one last struggle. Wielding linear rifles, they hailed fire at the Vis pair. “Shit! Move your ass Xie!” Akujin yelled to his partner. Their advance was held at bay and both were sustaining some damage, at any rate they were going to be mowed down. “Don’t tell me this is what’s gonna stop us!” Xie screamed rather pissed off. “Hold on just a bit longer!” Xiefall couldn’t take it anymore, “Ah, screw it!” He flicked a switch which set his verniay wings ablaze. Moving in a large crescent, Elocution moved in on its prey. In a horizontal fashion he whizzed past the suits, severing them in half. “That about does it.” Xie said fairly proud. “Excellent, let me scope out the inside.” Akujin maneuvered Ocelot into the ship. His suit fit neatly in as he descended his rip-cord. Advancing to the cockpit, he took note of the mass amounts of crates that filled the interior. As he reached the door, it flung open and someone bolted out in a hurry. “Hey! What the hell?!” The man leapt out into space with only a spacesuit to protect him. Akujin would let Xiefall handle that as he entered the room. Inside, a man rose from his chair with a gun raised to Aku’s face. “Oh, please,” he said while slapping the gun from the man’s hand and punching him back into his seat, “Sit down, relax.” Akujin slid his sword from his sheathe and slowly drew it up the man’s face making a light cut. Stopping when he reached the forehead, the sword was thrust through the man’s skull. Meanwhile, Xiefall was scanning the area just as someone emerged from the docking bay, however not in a mobile suit. Elocution closed in to see a look of horror on the man’s face when he was clapped between the two metal hands. If space had any sound, it would have made a satisfying “squish”. Xiefall smiled a smile of fulfillment and entered the ship to meet with Akujin. Upon entering the room, he noticed the dead body, “Nice.” Akujin nodded, “Ready to head back?” “You know it.”
