Geering up

Well its almost time for yet another tax season and its going to be a MAJOR relief. Just to give everyone a quick background on me.

I have owned this Tax office now going into my 4th Tax season. The place I was renting, the office space, was an old converted home in my tiny lil town. Apr, 23 2002 the old wires of the building couldn't take the extra traffic and caught fire and burned my office nearly to the ground and what the fire didn't get the smoke and water did.

For the first time in my life I have actually been glad to have Insurance. Not only that, but 90% of my files and my server's HD survived. Every thing else is mox-nix.

I have spent the ENTIRE last 8 months setting up my new office but I'm in a better location with better access and so on. All I have left is setting up my computers. *YAY!*

Anyway, In my search for a web site to talk tax stuff I have found my way here and I am looking forward to reading and sharing new information with y'all. *chuckles* there's that dern southern accent coming through.

Hello Stormy,
Nice to see you back again. Sorry to hear about the fire. I know what it's like to recreate your files. I had to go through this last year because of a virus.

Hope you have a better tax season.

Wish I could get my computer straightened out too. I seem to have a problem in the boot sector.

Ok, My TEC guy

has got them up and running. *YAY!*

All my programs are in place and the chairs are set up in the waiting room *hopefully the chairs will get full soon without the wait time. with 4 people behind the desks this will be my largest season ever. *crosses fingers*
