Name: Garan Thalan

Weight: 205 lbs
Physical Description: Garan has the standard characteristics of his homeworld. That is, deep green eyes, blonde almost white hair(which he keeps long and tied back with a religious knot), and a very dark tan complexion. Garan also has traditional piercings in his ears through which three studs are placed indicating his ascent to manhood. All of these symbols were formerly used to ward off daemons and other entities, but in the past 200 years they have been reformed to symbolize various aspects of the Emperor.

Bio: Garan was born on the planet Sophron nearly 200 years after it was discovered by a passing Imperial fleet. He worked a small farm with his father and grew strong. Garan had no siblings and lived only with his father, his mother had died in childbirth. Garans' father was a respected man of the village the belonged to called Renport. Garan always looked up to his father and wanted to be respected just like he was.
At 18 Garan gained three silver studs in his left ear which symbolized his ascent to manhood. At 21 his world had finally been accepted by the Imperium as worhy of supplying the Imperial Guard with ten regiments. Garan saw his opportunity to become as respected as his father was and signed up along with many of his childhood friends. Garan was assigned to the 4th regiment, 3rd platoon under Lieutenant Tolgerd Frasser as a standard trooper. He quickly said his goodbyes to his village and his father and left Sophron on an Imperial transport to the first battle his regiments would face for their God.
(*note: I would like For Garan to be allowed a suit of black Chiton armor which I plan to make as yet another traditional emblem of Sophron. Every member of the unit would be outfitted with this light armor. They would have standard helmets.)
