Have you ever wondered what it would be like to soar above the clouds? Or perhaps you've wondered what it would be like to be the King or Queen of Theives, making your living in dark corners where the shadows dwell. And there are unicorns in abundance, and centaurs, goblins, flying horses, dragons, and all sorts of other magical creatures. Knights follow the Code of Chivalry and evil is almost impossible to identify until it is too late. This is the realm in which all dreams, and all nightmares, can become a reality. This is the realm where magic is not unknown.

Fortress Under the Stars is a Fantasy RPG for all ages and talents. There is no long list of rules you have to follow, no silly code word you have to tell the admins to prove you have read those rules. Here, if you can be friendly, then you will be accepted as a member under no limiting conditions. You will never have to apologize for a short post here, and yet you will also never come across poorly-written posts which are impossible to read. This is a community where you are encouraged to learn to write better, where you are asked to challange yourself as a writer and as a thinker without ever overstepping your limits. Here you can be a prince or a peasant, a horse or a goblin, and here you can choose to fight evil or submit to the forces of darkness.

Our plot is a character-driven plot, and thus will only get moving once we have characters to create a diverse and real-seeming world. As members, there are friendly competitions to earn "Admin Smiles," whether you are able to show off your talents with graphic design or high-quality posts/Create a Character forms. Activity, politeness, and good sportsmanship are rewarded monthly, weekly, and daily. So if you're looking for a place not restricted by the pages of a book you might not have read, where quality is created by the friendly members who are willing to help everybody improve their writing skills without ever descriminating, then this is it.
