Biographical Information:
Birthdate: Oct. 3, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Current home: Fort Worth, Texas.
Family: Three daughters: Mary, 7; Alexandra, 8; and Christine, 23.

College: University of Texas

Working Career:

1999 - present: President, Feeds The Need, Inc. Oversee/manage personal real estate, investment, ranching and motorsports endeavors. Semi-retired. Full-time single parent.

1981 - 1999: Midas Rex Pneumatics Tools, Inc. Quality assurance manager, regulatory affairs liaison, general manager, ceo. Company grossed $70 million in 1998. Sold company to partners in 1999.

RACING HIGHLIGHTS:

2004: Winning car owner and co-driver at 2004 Rolex 24 at Daytona. Will compete in Grand American Rolex Series events only this year, with Terry Borcheller as co-driver. Bell Motorsports will again provide support, engineering, tuning. Engines will continue to be GM LS-1/LS-6 type. Car/team will have GM factory support and will compete as Bell Motorsports Kodak Easyshare DORAN JE4 Pontiac #54 in effort to repeat its championship in Daytona Prototype class.

Andy Pilgrim and Christian Fittipaldi co-drove with Barber and Borcheller for Rolex 24 victory. Pilgrim is also confirmed as co-driver for the two '04 six-hour races.

Possibly add second car late in '04. Car/team available for sponsorship opportunities on a race-by-race or seasonal basis.

2004 Season Results:

1. Rolex 24 at Daytona, Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Fla., Jan. 31-Feb. 1 (Barber, Borcheller, Andy Pilgrim, Christian Fittipaldi); Borcheller qualified third overall; team finished first overall and first in Daytona Prototype class.

2. Grand Prix of Miami, Homestead Miami Speedway, Homestead, Fla., Feb. 28 (Barber, Borcheller); Barber qualified 14th overall; team finished sixth overall and sixth in the Daytona Prototype class.

3. Food City 250, Phoenix Int&#65533;l Raceway, April 10 (Barber, Borcheller); Barber qualified 12th both overall and in Daytona Prototypes; team finished 13th overall and 11th in class.

2003: Contested Grand American Rolex series in Chevrolet-powered DORAN JE4 Daytona Prototype. Contested Grand-Am Cup series in BMW M3. Cars owned and effort funded by Forest Barber/FTN, Inc., with Bell Motorsports again providing race support, tuning and engineering of both cars. Keith Roberts of Roberts' Racing Engines of Mooresville, N.C. built the Chevrolet LS-1/LS-6 engines used in the DORAN JE4.

2003 Season Results:

Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series:
Bell Motorsports won the inaugural Daytona Prototype team owners' championship and Terry Borcheller won the Daytona Prototype drivers'championship in Doran DP/Chevrolet.

The team won half of the 12 races on the schedule:

1. Barber 250 at the Park, Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Ala., May 18 (Borcheller and Barber).

2. Mid-Ohio Road Racing Classic, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio, June 28 (Borcheller and Barber).


3. Paul Revere 250, Daytona Int'l Speedway, Daytona Beach, Fla., July 4 (Borcheller and Barber).


4. Bully Hills Vineyards 250, Watkins Glen International, Watkins Glen, N.Y., Aug. 8 (Borcheller and Barber).


5. VIR 400, Virginia Int'l Raceway, Alton, Va., Oct. 5 (Borcheller and Pilgrim).


6. Grand American Champions Weekend, Daytona Int'l Speedway, Daytona Beach, Fla., Nov. 1 (Borcheller and Barber).

(Barber missed one race due to a family emergency and later sat out a second, letting Pilgrim drive. He still finished seventh in the overall point standings for the year. The six drivers who placed ahead of him competed in all 12 events.)

Borcheller and Barber have most overall Daytona Prototype class victories for '03 with six and five, respectively.

Borcheller has five front-row starts, two from the pole position. Pilgrim has one pole position start and one race victory with Borcheller.

Barber qualified fourth, third, and second in class in consecutive races, and has five race victories with Borcheller.

Borcheller has eight podium finishes in DORAN JE4 Chevrolet DP and Barber has six podium finishes.

Grand-Am Cup Series:
Barber and Borcheller tied for second place in drivers' championship.

2002: Began racing Grand-Am Cup series in BMW M3 with Jim Bell/Bell Motorsports tuning and engineering car and providing race support. Car was owned and effort funded by Forest Barber/Feeds The Need, Inc. Terry Borcheller was the co-driver. Also tested with Andy Pilgrim several times in 2002.

2000 - 2001: Raced Formula Mazda regional events and competed in Ferrari Challenge. Won class at Watkins Glen in Ferrari.

1996 - 1999: Established Feeds The Need, Inc. Raced off-shore powerboats with John Tomlinson. Won five national and world championships from 1997 through 1999. Established successive U.I.M. kilo speed records, 1998/1999.

1987 - present: Various driving schools/experiences including Porsche driving school, Jim Russell driving schools, Bob Bondurant driving school, Frank Hawley drag racing school.

1974 - 1982: Raced motorcycles in cross country, enduro and motocross events.
