Food Journals
Well, after these past few days, I'm starting a food journal tomorrow!

I'm not only going to list what I'm eating, but I'll be journalling how I feel the next day. I was very tired and fuzzy headed Sat. and Sun., but not this morning. I'm thinking it's because I'm not eating enuff starchy carbs -- I'm pretty much just eating oatmeal and the rest of my carbs are veggies. By journalling I can also start working on my macro ratio and my pre workouot meals.

I indulged way too much in bad stuff this weekend and I'm really afraid of falling off and gaining my weight back. But, I still have my workout to do tonight and I can start organizing my food tomorrow!! I have a goal, I'm going to achieve it and I know nutrition is the key.

Anyone else keep a food journal?

Re: Food Journals
Hi Ange..good idea girl;) I write everything down in Microsoft word..everyday for the past two years:eek Not only food, but my workouts,if I am PMSing, water retention, if I feel dehydrated etc...Sometimes you think you drink enough water and when you look at your journal it will show you the truth, that you are not...

Go for it girl:D

Re: Food Journals
Food journals are great:) What a good idea!! I used to keep them as well but then i became lazy..and also when i'm dieting for a show its sooooo strict that I know extactly what i eat and when...but when i'm offseason or taking it easy there are lots of times when i can look back and wonder...what did i do then????

Great idea Ang:) :)

Re: Food Journals
I've tried keeping teack before and only did it a few days -- it's harder for me to journal in front of people then it is to eat clean in front of them. But, I believe that my problem last week was that I haven't been eating a lot of starchy carbs and I started to crave them and ate muffins and bread. Then, of course, that starts the spikes and it just went down hill from there. I was fuzzy headed Sat. and Sun. a.m. and I had a headache Sat. morning. Anyway, this is all a learning experience and I'm learning!! I felt better yesterday -- I had my oats in the morning and rice for my 3rd meal. I keep that up this week and start tweaking a bit as the weeks go on!!
