Oooh! So glad to see there's a fan fic rec thread! Looking forward to reading some good FF fic -- 'cause Lord knows I doubt I could ever attempt anything near as good as any I've read so far!

Salvage Mission.... and Others


Salvage Mission and Reclaimation are easily the best fics I've read so far. (Probably helps that they're centered on Jayne, but...that's neither here nor there).

Everything else she's written is just utterly fantastic. Again, most of it is Jayne centered and a lot of Jaylee, but the stuff that's not is just as good. She has an excellent voice for the characters.

But if you read nothing else, read Salvage Mission and Reclaimation, they're two parts of the same story.

A Simon centered fic as he interacts with each crew member. I think, very telling of his relationships with each and how he views his place on the ship.
