Fan fiction based on former IDF character
Hi. I am starting a post-DS15 fan fiction based on my character, Lt. Leeta Gill, (now) ex-CCO. My character really didn't change much during her last months there after DS15 left the IDF ... since she was engaged in late September ... The story is set immediately after arriving at her new assignment. Posts 1708 and 1698 form the basis for my story. The archives and site for DS15 have been the same as they have always been: www.mybigbang.com/DeepSpace15/
So far I'm only posting it on one site, CIA Headquarters, a fan site for the TV show Alias. When the IDF has a fan fiction archive I will submit my story chapter by chapter. Since I'm no longer simming with Leeta, I figure I have the right to write about her in short stories .... not necessarily happy ones. My last post on DS15 was a bit of a cliffhanger so this story will set the record straight so to speak about Leeta ... and what she did for the six months leading up to my cliffhanger, as if to explain it.
I'll be posting my prologue there on the 28th of this month. Feel free to read it at your leisure. I thought of writing a romance at first ... but I decided to write angst/dramatic ... a bit on the sad note since well the epilogue must lead into what I posted earlier. Since I am more into reading angst than romantic fan fiction ... Death, self-destruction ahead folks. Some of my fellow ex-DS15ers couldn't believe/didn't realize first hand what my post meant metaphorically speaking, it was a really dark/sad/ironic post for me to write. In a way it was sad for me to think of leaving and writing something more humours/optimistic seemed out of the question .... the only upside is that I didn't kill off my PC. There has been rumours that another former DS15er will be writing stories about her character as well in the future ... I am talking about Lt. Lucia von Erntemond, who when last mentioned is the only PC IC serving on DS15 since the other senior officers formally left IC.

The title was cut off when submitting my disclaimer/character list to that site. The full title is "Project Twilight: The Life and Times of a JAG officer."
Project Twilight was provided as the code name for Leeta's assignment following her thirteen months at DS15. As for the JAG part ... lol ... Leeta implied her intentions to become one.
