Enterprise?
I don't watch Enterprise regularly, but what seems to be the general opinion of it?
I thought the pilot episode was okay, nothing special. I've seen a few other episodes as well. I think they were better than the polit, but still nothing to write home about. IT seems to me that the cast just hasn't really gelled together or found the groove. Who knows? Anyway, what do you guys think?
I actually think that while the first series was good for a Star trek series, I was actually dissapointed on four fronts,
1) Lack of Hoshi sato episodes. I think she is possibly the stringest and deepest characters (OK and one of the most fittest officers.)
2) far to much character development- For a first series Rick Breman is trying to hard to get us to like characters, I only like Data from Season Four onwards and Wof I only liked when he joined DS9
3) Continuity- Call me picky, but I cannot abide by bad continuity. The Ferengi made an appearance- Captain jean Luc Picard says in the episode "The Last Outpost", the first sepisode to feature the Ferengi that it was the first contact with any Ferengi, excluding the Battle of Maxia Zeta. Also where did the Sulibans go? and can someone explainthe Klingon foreheads?
4) Lack of Romulans- I love the Romulan Empire and its ships, and OK they do feature in the second seies (still yet to air in the UK-damm!) but I feel that if they were introduced in the first series, I think that the escalating feelings of amminosity, that lead to war (2156) would be better to start in the first series.
Having just read through my last response, I have to say having now seen Most of Series 2...it's getting in a bad shape.
How many episodes do we need focused on Archer/ Trip/ T'Pol??!? It's beyond daft. Maybe they should rename the series Archer/ Trip and T'Pol because most of the series seems to be about them. Some episodes, such as Minefield/ Dead Stop and Canamar have been really good, but some have just been shoddy, A Night in sickbay, Singularity among them have just been one big yawn fest. I'll just stick to it to see if it gets better, but I'm on the verge of going back to my beloved DS9.

I've been watching ENT again and it seems its finding it's feet after the largely dissapointing 2nd Season. I can't wait for the Expanse and Season 3 to begin to England and having read some of the reviews of Series 3- wow what a look. T'Pol's new catsuits mmm...and some more Hoshi- wahey
