Your voice is pure joy on a winter
night. My girlfriend is spending the weekend
with her boyfriend: the nerve! You soar
in a basement club. You step lightly
on the streets of Paris. You sop up your tears
with a man's shirt, and shower outside. I'm drinking red
wine and listening to you. The sky is a charcoal
drawing, and the wind is a tidy come-and-go.
