Ebbing Tides...
::sigh:: Well, I admit that I had really wished for a "community", so to speak, even a small one. Not since the original Ocean Girl mailing lists have fans really had any sort of connection with one another... and Ocean Girl has always been an interest that I've longed to share with others, but never have been able to.
And I still will. I have finally become inspired and determined to say that I will definately be building a new website in which I hope to explore and share the depth, quality, and beauty of the show that has really yet to be accomplished by any Ocean Girl site I've seen. I hope that through my site, others will gain insight into the show that they may have not seen and rediscover their love for the series that has captured hearts of millions.
Will I be able to accomplish this? Perhaps.. or perhaps not.
But I realize, that at least at this point in time, a community is not possible. Most people do not visit this place.. most do not even really visit Noreo's board. It seems like it... but most of what is posted there anymore consists merely of advertisements and posts intentionally written to shock and draw attention. The interest of most of the show's older fans has died...
But who knows... maybe the show still has newer fans still to come, yet to discover it...
