Dough art
I have done dough art for about 15 years. I do sell at craft shows and stores, especially during the Christmas holidays. Some designs can be rather comples but some are very easy.....like making a little bear. And they look very cute and last for years. The recipe is 1 cup flour.....1/2 cup salt and 1/2 cup water.
Saundra, I'm sooooo glad you came back. And thank you for the dough recipe. I always wondered how in the world some people can make such neat creations out of dough. I have seen lots of it in my fav. crafting magazines, but never gave it a try.
After I put this board up I started finding and realizing just HOW MANY boards there are like this one. I hope to make this place a bit more special in the future and hope you return and become a regular here. Crafting is not only fun, but a great help to the soul.
Blessings to you today. May the Lord guide your hand as you carry out the work He created you to do. Sandy
Re: Dough art
Thanks Sandy. It was wonderful to have you visit my board. I want to remember to put you on my ezboard ring. Crafting is wonderful for the soul and mind. When times have been stressful, I have always been grateful to have a place to put my extra energy.

What is the best media for coloring you dough. I saw this done by a neighbor many years ago and I can not recall if she used food coloring or if there was a more reliable method. Thanks

Thanks -- Sandra. Since I have also been told since I posted the question that you can mix either the paint or dry tempra paint with the dough as you are kneading it. I will try them all, and see which way is best for me.
