Damn... there's something you don't see everyday...
Paul Anka is on Letterman right now... singing Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana... wow, that's trippy.
Horn section, piano, drums, guitar, and bass...
Oh jeez, he just did the Wayne Newton point and smile!

Yeah, a little after I posted that he was talking to Dave and they showed the CD... Bunch of rock songs done in a big band, swing jazz style. Or whatever he called it.
When he came on, I wasn't paying attention but then I heard the lyrics and started wondering where I heard it before... "...here we are now, entertain us" ?? OMFG, he's singing a Nirvana tune??
eh, the audience seemed to like it.. There's either a market for that kinda stuff, or they were following the "applause" sign.

I just looked up the track listing for the CD... wow... I've actually heard a lounge version of Black Hole Sun. Weeeeird.
I wonder how he would do Bad Medicine, Dr. Feelegood, or Unskinny Bop?
