Creating Mimian Names
If you want to create a Mimian name according to the four major dialects, keep these things in mind:
Mua (music)- the name should have a sing-song quality to it. Might help to see how it sounds if you half sing/half talk. That's how I came up wit names like Wufa Mi, Marana, Quito.
Wua (whisper)- similar to Mua except in hushed tones. use a lot of 'ah', 'sh', 'oh' and 'oo' sounds. Examples: Trizana, Amaryo, Sulhi.
Tch (clicks)- Use a lot of hard consonant sounds such as 'k', 'tch', 't', 'c', and occationally combine them with the use of the rolling r (kind of like a purring sound.) Also use a minimum of vowels. Examples: Tkkla, Fikkia, Krrta, Goki, Coti
Hnn (whine)- The name basically has to sound like it's being spoken through the nose. Examples: Hna, ChiChu, Binah, Banji, Gineda.

Re: Creating Mimian Names
Could I use Coti (Glow) for my half Human\half Tch character and Krrta for the maiden name of her mother (Mask)?

I think I've got them!
Coti's Mahda- Aki (Night)
Grandmother- Kiat (Seek)
The Mua guy Coti's one time boyfriend- Centav (Simple)
Are the okay? I'm not incredibly sure about Kiat. I could make it Kita or Kitta instead if it's wrong looking.

For what it's worth, I like Kiat myself. It has a nice sharp ending that I think goes well with the Tch idea of clicks and hard stops.
