Crash Landing
There was a splash of ice cold water jolting Kairi from her sleep like state. "Ah! I'm awake!" she yelled suddelny waking from her dremless sleep. Kairi, despite the fact she was soaked to the bone and still in her school uniform,turned around and looked at the fountions beautifully created rose design on the wall.
"I hope you have a safe trip princess....."
Kairi whirled around looking frantically for the voice of the woman she had seen back at the secret place. She stared in froont of her. No one was there besides a few people starring at her and the other civialians of the town. Judging from the appearence she was in Traverse Town once more.
"...I think I'll just walk around abit." Kairi said brightly, trying to distract attention from herself. Though a teenage girl suddenly appreaing in the fountion wasn't exactly 'Normal' as well.
Maybe I should go in the hotel to dry off... Kairi padded around for her bookcase, which also held her wallet. She metally hit herself for leaving it at home. Great! Now I'm broke to! this is not my day....Edited by: KeyaMazuki at: 9/1/05 11:04

Kai-Mi stood one hand on her hip, Observing the in the fountain."You sure you wake? Why in water?" Kai-Mi asked unsure if this was totaly nuts, or what. "Now you wet, and in water spout." Kai-Mi stated in her usual gruff voice.
Kai-Mi ran her eyes over the . Her damp red hair and Odd cloths Hung rather limply. Kai-Mi's eyes hesitated on the neclace. then continued back to her face. the was no threat to Kai-Mi. Too small and weak. Kai-Mi ran a hand through her hair. "You have name?"

Sora walked into the Second District, then turned back, seeing where Rika had gone. He began to look around, because the girl wasn't in site. "Oh please don't tell me she ran off!" Sora said, putting his hand to his head. In the Second District its wasn't all that hard to get lost...esspecially if you've just gotten here. Sora did it once...or twice before he meet Donald and Goofy, and it took Yuffie and Leon to find him.
Maybe she was still in the First District...no that couldn't be, he let her go in first! Well she couldn't of gone far...she's probably show up in three.....two....one....
Kairi froze, not expecting there to be someone behind her. She turned around scratching the back of her head out of embarresment. "Heh heh, I'm Kairi Nice to meet you."
Looking down she saw she was still standing in the fountion. Kairi quickly stepped out of the mineature pond. She was still soaking wet and didn't like the feeling at all. "Um so whats your name?" She asked sheepishly. Kairi shifted her feet from side to side for a few seconds.
"Would you happen to know someplace where I coud dry off? I don't mean to sound rude or anything but...well you know.."

"Kairi." Kai-Mi repeted commiting it to memory. "I Kai-Mi. You much wet. You come Me. Get you not wet." Kai -Mi turned and stroed a few steps, toward the Hotel, then stopped to make sure the was following her.
Kai-Mi jumped up oin teh park bench, she didn't like the wood much it scraced her bare feet. She grabbed on to the concreat and pulled herself Up on to the small ledge/ Turning back to the smaller Kai-Mi instructedn. "Come, Now." Her tail twiched slightly.

"Sora! C'mon!" Rika was standing on top of a bench a while away, waving her raised arm at Sora franticly, trying to catch his attention. "I wanna try the food stuff now!" She tried jumping up and down but only slipped and fell backwards off the bench. "Ow."
Sora turned around in Rika's direction, laughing at her 'graceful' fall. He ran over to where she was, holding out his hand to help her up once he got there. "You really need to work on your landing there Rika." Though of course Sora couldn't say he was any better, he had his clumbsy moments...alot...
"I wanna try the food stuff now!"
Sora kept forgetting that Rika hadn't had food before.. Which was weird no matter how you look at it. Sora wanted to make sure her first experience with food wasn't a horrible one...but where would he take her?

She laughed and grabbed his hand, pulling herself to her feet. "Yeah, that probably would be good."
"So where we gonna go? Do we even go anywhere, or do you just find the food stuff?" Rika's eyes were an inquisitive light green as she looked at Sora, waiting for an answer.

Oh boy. This was gonna gonna be an adventure. "Well, we have to go into a resterant and order the foot Rika." It was kinda like talking to a five year old. But oh well, Sora didn't mind that much. It gave him something to do atleast.
Jiminy once again hopped upon Sora's shoulder, "Sora, remember that girl said that Donald and Goofy were somewhere in the Second District? Maybe we should look for them now." Jiminy did have a point. Sora really should be looking for Donald and Goofy...but...they could be anywhere. It could take hours to find them!
"Jiminy, knowing those two, they could be anywhere. Those heartless were the only ones we've seen all day. I don't think theres a problem. Now lets go eat!"
Jiminy plopped down on the boy's shoulder, giving a sigh, "Did you always get sidetracked like this."

"Yay food!" Rika gave a small cheer as she waited for Sora to lead her to the mysterious 'rest-raunt'.
Sora rolled his eyes and looked into the plaza that is the Second District. There were alot more people here than when he first arrive around a year ago. Most likely due to the heartless's numbers descresing. Sora felt good knowing the he helped that, even though many didn't remember. What would he have to do to get some attention around here? Well, it probably wouldn't take much with the way people were so jumpy. Sure things were calm, but if there were another mass heartless attack, who knows what would happen...Well...Sora would be in the limelight again, thats for sure.

Sora looked over all the shops that sat in the Second District...he had been to most of them, and most of them were pretty weird in their own right. Sora would save the weird ones...though Rika would probably fit in any of them. "Well, what kinda food do you wanna try first?"
"I Kai-Mi. You much wet. You come Me. Get you not wet."
Kairi smiled lightly. This girl had a sort of primitive way of speeking but she seemed harmless enough. She followed the girl, noticing she also had a tail. A tail? that was a bit odd...then again, she had seen others much more diffrent.
Kairi followed Kai-Mi to the hotel entrance. " So, Kai-Mi was it? Um if you don't mind be asking what brings you here? cause not to be rude but you don't look like you came from here" She asked lightly, looking around a bit at all the other people. Not finding many others at all who might have looked anything like the lion girl before her.

Kai-Mi tossed a look over her shoulder, her gold eyes, glared through her dark curly hair. This Kairi used to many words, she talked funny, it was slighlty annoying. "Big dark, No stars, Went to Temple, Man in cloak give cup, drink much, now here." She answered, "Posiend, me thinks."
Kai-Mi held the door to teh Hotel open for Kairi. Her ears perked up listining slightly to the conversation of the others in the District. "Why you in fountain? You not know wet?"

(I don't usualy post one after the other, but I wanted to use CAM! )
"Yea Food!" the gir/l said.
Courage peeked out over the top of the roof, And grinned slightly. He jumped up ofer teh top of the roof and slid down lading on all fours in front of Sora and the Rika. Jumped Up. In front of them Drawing him self to his full small height. He grinned impishtly, showing off his slightly pointed Teath. "Hey!" He said. "I'm Courage, But Most people Call me Cam, or hey-you-get-outa-here. Wich every you prefer."
He looked over the two people in front of him. the boy looked normal enough, but the gir/l, "You look funny, its not a bad thing, I like it. Diffrent is good. Your friend looks the same as everybody esle. Thats just booring."
"If your lookin fur a place to eat I'd say, That resturant," He said pointing to a budling near by, "is the best, they have good peanut butter n' jelly. Do you like Peanut butter n' Jelly? " He asked totaly oblivious to the fact that his talkative nature might be odd to the couple in front of him.

It was a bit of a starain to understand Kai-Mi but Kairi pretty much got what she said. She nodded. " I was thrown threw a door and wound up here..well in the fountion as you saw." Kairi laughed sheepishly.
"Why you in fountain? You not know wet?"
"Uhh... no I knew I was wet, but it never really strook me cause I was still looking around I guess." She Answered while walkign the door giving a 'thanks' to Kai-Mi for holding the door open for her.
She walked to the front desk. "Are we getting a room? I don't have any money right now I'm sorry but I can get some if I need to!" Kairi replied. She had made it a factor to never forget debts, or birthdays, and such.
Now the problem remains how?..I'll probobly just look around for a job, theres bound to be one here.

Kai-Mi shook her head, "No money, Have room." she answered. "You get no wet." Kai-Mi Knodded at the Man behind the Desk, Who apeared to be slightly afraid. The Half-Lion Lead the way to a room on the side, Pushing open the door. "In." She instructed
The room was dark, the way it should have been. Kai-Mi would have loved a little fire. But She was sure the building couldn't take it. "dry there." Kai-mi pointed toward the Bathroom. She Lay streached out Cat-like on the bed, "I wait."

Sora jumped back slightly as the kid appeared infront of them. Why was he surprised? People just 'appeared' infront of him all the time, and in Donald and Goofy's case...on him. Maybe it was a quirk to be the Keyblade master? Aw Sora didn't know. "Uh..thanks kid...but I think I'll find one myself." Sora said, patting the kid on the head.
Man this kid talk alot. He was like Tidus at Riku's tenth birthday party. Now that was a disaster waiting to happen. The blonde boy didn't sleep all night...and neither did Sora, Riku and Wakka...

Kairi a litte hesitantly walked into the room. " I don't know how to repay you thankyou so very much." sha said quickly bowing and then going into the bathroom to clean up as instruckted.
Kairi once in the bathroom turned and locked the door, quickly took off her wet clothes and quickly hopped in the shower to get all the foution water out of her hair. There was proboly a lot of gross things that had been in the water. Kairi's face fell a bit, little kids sometimes spit in there...
Knowing that made Kairi only scrub her head harder with the given shampoo and such. After a bit of more cleaning Kairi came out and wrapped herself up in one of the twoels. She felt her clothes which where still a little damp. She leaned back against the counter.
I guess I'll just have to wait for them to dry. Kairi thought as she quickly dryed herself off with the towl. Once dry Kairi re-emerged from the bathroom now in her cothes once more that were still a little wet. She bowed once more to Kai-Mi "Thankyou once again for your hospitality."

Kai-Mi lay spread on the bed her tailcurled lazily. "Nothing." She answered, "Nothing to pay. I Just help. Anytime need thing, See I, help if can."
Kai-Mi's Gazed lazily at the gir/l. "Is dangerous here. much shadows. you friend here?"
The half-lion uncurled and re curled her fingers. She was itching to hunt soemthing, Heartless were very small prey for her. People took ofence to her chacing moogles. She growled slighlty, Streaching. Her Bare feet hit the pillows at the head of the bed. With each movement her Silver marks glittered slithly and her Jewerly smade small jingles.

"There's different kinds?! Dooooom... This is gonna be even MORE fun then I thought!" Rika's grin widened. "What kind do you think is best? I think I'll try that first." As she talked she was somehow reminded of her short time in the human's world.
"Rika, try this! You need to put some meat on your bones!" A somewhat plump, cheerful lady insisted, pushing a large piece of ham in Rika's direction. "But I don't have meat on my bones, I have leaves on them!" Rika retorted. The women sighed. "Alright, maybe some other time then..."
Rika shook her head, clearing her thoughts.
((As you can see, Rika's been introduced to food once or twice, however since the human's world is technically the same as Halloween Town, she didn't need or want to eat, and she never heard the food called "food" either))
((And on another note, I'm going to be gone from 6PM tonight until sometime this Sunday or Monday. Ima goin' JET SKIING!))

Sora thought for a moment, placing his hand on his chin. Being the guy he is, Sora would naturally take a cheesebuger or a pizza over anything. Or desert. "Well Chinese is good, though ya end up hungry again after thirty minutes." Sora replied with a chuckle. Alright, not Chinese, but Sora doubted Rika would like junk food...though it wouldn't surprise Sora if she loved it.
"How about we go get a pizza?" Sora suggested, not really having the dish in...well...FOREVER. He hadn't had one since the island disappeared the first time. It was a shame too because his mom was making pizza that night.
