Canned corn?
Is this a simple carb? It has approximately 6-7 grams of sugar per serving (1/2 cup), but is this the kind like what is in an apple or what is in an oatmeal cream pie? I've been eating it as a complex carb, but should I stop?

consider it a simple carb. Its not as low GI as an apple is (canned corn is in the 50s) but it would be close. You arent going to get sustained energy from it like you would old fashioned oatmeal (not oatmeal cream pie whatever that is). So stop using it as a complex carb.
Re: Canned corn?
Only a 15 year old could eat those things and stay lean, you want your abs to come out, stop eating man made crap like that and replace it will better quality carbs.
Re: Canned corn?
I eat good, I was just using the oatmeal cream pie as an example. My main source is oats.
I actually put on weight easily, so for me, pies are the bad news for me. Thanks for the warning though. (I don't know if "warning" is the word I am looking for).

Oh man, I love, Love, LOVE bread!!!!
My wife used to make this baked Spaghetti with these homemade style rolls she would get at Walmart.......Coat them in butter and they melt in your mouth!!
Once I decided to lose weight we started looking at things closer.....Each roll was 170 calories and all junk! (I would usually eat 4 at a sitting Along with a huge plate of Spaghetti!!)
No wonder I got fat......But it sure was fun
It's what you learn AFTER you know it all that counts!
Phewiiie Carbohydrate overload LOL...it does sound yummy for sure I have cut flour products to absolute minimum years ago I have bread, pastry, cake etc...every 6-8 weeks these days
