CLA or ALA?
I want to add another EFA to my diet and am wondering which one is best for me....

What's the main difference between CLA and ALA?

Re: CLA or ALA?
Two completely different supplements:

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA)helps to neutralize the effects of free radicals on the body by enhancing the antioxidant functions of vitamin C, vitamin E, and glutathione. An additional benefit of this nutrient is that is assures the proper functioning of two key enzymes that convert food into energy. Its not an EFA.

You could add CLA but remember you also need the balance of omega 3 and 9 as well.

R+ ALA
LA - I've been reading about the difference between regular ALA and the R+ form of ALA and it seems like the regular ALA that most bottles are made of is really not that great for you, what's your opinion?

I just got some R+ form from AOR and am trying it.....

Re: R+ ALA
Yes...the research shows that the R form is 12-20X more effective than the s or regular ALA. The R form is the natural and S is synthetic version--when the label only states ALA its a blend of both forms. Whenever available always chose the R form:)
