My itch in life...
Well, I am just seriously getting back into my training program after a 4 weeks ease up...
I had dieted down for the Mississuaga show, and at 10days out unfortunately came with a viral throat infection. As everything happens for a reason, I choose not compete in the show and let my health return to normal - both my physical and mental game were off. So now I am regrouping, looking to get off the little bit of fluff I gained back and get back into the precontest game. I need my abs back for summer!!
Gail and Aluscka, its so great to see your cherry attitudes again!! Yehhhhhh!! Reunion!!
I am busy as a bee these days. Matt is 6 days out from the Ontario Championships where his goal is requalify for the Nationals in 2007. He looks great! I'm working as a supplement rep, and thats insanely busy....
hi brenny
Its great to have you here Hottie Armstrong!
Too bad about the throat thing, but like you say, everything happens for a reason, you'll just kick ass in your next show
Good luck to Matt, bet he's looking great....hope you are coping with his prep!
Everything same old same with me, trying to get my ass into shape, blah blah......... think i'm the wrong side of 30 these days, everything seems so much harder and so much more effort, but hey ho, thats life!
Re: hi brenny
Hey Brenny, that sucks getting sick like that Being athlete is not as simple as people think My heart goes out to anyone who has challenges like that.I am softy and I will cry when I watch Olympics or any sport and athlete gets injury or flu, tummy bug etc...General public does not understand taht you have put minutes, hours, days, months, years into eating and training an dit is not your fault when something like that happens on crucial days of your life How about when you have to perform you best while you are in agony with period pain HUH?
Anyway...I am full on with my yoga I stopped volley 3 weeks ago due to my rotator cuff injury Doing rehab and I have date with specialist in 4 weeks or so. I have finally started with weights after 5 years lay off...ouch But I am limited with my right shoulder...so some of my workouts are just not very productive, but I am doing my best and that is what counts
Cheers and keep sweet girl
