christian wicca in florida
Hello, I live in Florida to and I am new to this concept of christian wicca. I am looking for someone to talk with and share ideas. The wiccan path seems to make sence to me but I could never let go of my love of Jesus. The idea of combining the two seems perfect to me. If you would like to contact me directly please feel free. southern christian wiccans
Hi my name is Debra, I have been a H.P.s for almost 11 years now and gradually came full circle. I don't ever think I ever really strayed too far. I am in Fayetteville NC. I have a full working coven which brings much joy into my life! there are 9 of us, unfortunatelly 2 of us are in Iraq right now. There are more of us than you might think. However there are few resources. I agree with some of the "purley pagan views," we are not really Christian. We are creating our own tradition. This too is alright. Then again being raised Catholic, I have heard for years from Fundies, that we were Pagans anyway!!!!
Best advise I can give you is follow your heart and research, reseach, research! You have to move past a lot of the Preachers of your childhoods. We have recently been exploring the fact that in the ancient Hebrew faith the Holy Spirit was considered a SHE! It helps that my husband is a former Pentacostal Minister.
We also work with the Gnostic Gospels. Remember Peter? Jesus said upon "This rock he would build his Church" yet Paul was the direction the Christian Church went. Peter was a Gnostic Christian. You cannot control humans with all the messages of freedom that Jesus taught! Just my two cents!
Blessed Be!
Debra
I have been extremely interested in blending Wicca with my Christian inclinations for years and am so happy to find this site. I am in Tennessee and am undergoing priestess training through the Fellowship of Isis. I have been studying Wicca/Witchcraft on my own for years. I really have not been able to connect with any established groups thus far and am looking to start my own group, based on my training, experiences, and beliefs.
