Beyond the Icon Fairy's powers this time.
Enjoy 'em while they last....
         
They'll all be red x's soon.  (<-- and so will many of these)
Our f2s server will no longer be offering free hosting by the end of February, and all of our files will be deleted. We'll be finding a new server for our graphics here, obviously, and it doesn't take much effort to change our site's settings to display the images from their new urls.
But, the posticons and the more recent emoticons are permanently attached to their urls, and will show up as red x's after Feb 28. We went through this before, but to a lesser degree, when Brinkster changed their policy, and no longer allowed off-site hosting. The Icon Fairy came by to help us out, and fixed all of those old files. But, that required less than half as much effort as would be needed this time... and it ain't gonna happen.
So... we'll have to change DSotM's settings to disable posticons (not display them). That really stinks, but it's better than looking at a bunch of red x's on every page and in every post. I'll be very sorry to see them go.
The emoticons are also a bit of a problem; Not all of them will be affected, but the most recent ones will. They also reside on our f2s server, and remain attached there within every post where they were used. But, we've only been using f2s for our new emoticons since 11/15/01. All the emoticons before that date should still display fine... but those are the old crappy ones. Ugghh.
