Best Muffins Ever!
I got this recipe from a bb so I"m sorry if it's your recipe!
I LOVE these and they are so good for you
Flex Muffins
Mix together;
16oz (large carton) Egg whites
1 whole egg
1.5 cups oats
1 banana
1/2 cup cottage cheese

1 scoop protein powder (whatever flavor you want)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp extract (vanilla or I love coconut)
Through into a muffin tin (makes 12) and bake at 350 for 25mins
Re: Best Muffins Ever!
well these were not only simple and quick to make but they are GREAT!!! most recipes ive tried similiar to this are too dry and you need a gallon of water to wash them down but not with these - YAY.... LA i wont need a protein bar or drink on hand for any cravings these will do the trick now until im 100% back on track...cheap, easy and good for ya!
thanks for sharing BGB
Re: Best Muffins Ever!
Those muffins are waaaaaaaaaaaay better than a bar..you know what exact ingredients are used. I can't wait to try them in a couple of weeks.
Re: Best Muffins Ever!
so i LOVE these muffins but have to stop making them due to the simple fact i eat too many at once..one or two here and there is good but not the amount im having!!!
I made some but added some nuts and raisins to them for my family bbq on the weekend they were a hit..now if i would have told them how i made them they'd be the first to complain about them...sometimes its best to serve them and not tell them the secret ingredients ..... when i go over to my brothers next he wants me to whip him up the "famous" stiry fry i wont shut up about now!!
2 cups cook brown rice or substitute with 1 cup oats
1 can tuna
chopped up green onion
3 egg whites
1/2 cellery chopping
parsely flakes
6 tbsp plain no fat yogurt
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
stir ingredients in a large bowl pre heat oven to 250 . bake for about 20-25 mins til tops are brown .
sounds gross at first but a very hand when on the go.
