Beautiful Sticks: A Beauxbatons Academy of Magic RPG
Beautiful Sticks
"Beaux bātons" is French for "beautiful sticks." The "bātons" part is presumably a reference to magical wands. The French word for "magic wand" is "baguette magique", which would make most people in the English-speaking world think of a loaf of bread, so it's not surprising Rowling didn't use
Beautiful Sticks is a Harry Potter-based RPG, only it isn't set at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, but a rivaling school; hidden away from prying eyes is the magical school known as Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. A private school in France for some of the wealthiest daughters of prominent wizarding families, not only a place of magical learning, but a school for a proper witch's etiquette. The students of the Academy are graceful, intellegent, and well-mannered. They will learn how to hone their skills as a witch and much more!
