Beast people\ Other Demension
At first I wanted to make Mon*Star an evil Thundercat and have him from Thundera, but I opted against shortly after creating Anissina and the concept of another demension. Here are some stats of the world of the beast people and their culture and so on. This will be edited to completion latter on.

Capitial:Veralisk
Population: ? (I'll get back to everyone on this)
Setting: Desert
Resourses: ? (I'll get back to everyone on this, too. I only have so much so far)
Goverment: Not sure of the term, ruled by Piezar Vojin and Peizarina Ganjavi; they have eqaul power
Fyrezon is the name of a barren hostile planet in a different demension. The beast people are the only sentient race of the world. They hold the technolgy for interdemensional travel. Unfortunaly the trip only goes one way. So no exploration has ever been mounted to the 'other side'.
The current Pieczar, Vojin's brother, Kusan, attempted to kill him before he could acsent to the throne. He was twarted and he, his mate Tijandra and her mother Jaskari, who aided him, were banished from Veralisk. In exile Kusan sired a son, Zorvakh and and daughter, Anissina. He has also gained follwers and plans agian to overthrow his brother.

The beast people live for about 1,000 years and age half a year to every year. So if they live their full life span they only age to be 500 years. The 'Light*Star' powers displayed by Mon*Star\Zorvakh and Anissina display are common place amonst the beast people. Claws, palms of the hands or one of the eyes are where the engery comes out. The outlet varies from beast person to beast person.
At the age of 36 (phsycally 13) a young beast person is taken out in the 'wilderness' a left with some food, water and a weapon. Their powers won't fully manifest for another year. They are left to fend for themselves for roughgly a year. An older beast person stays near to keep track of the young one's whereabouts. No contact is made for the year, but when the year is up the 'guardian' does make contact and begins to train the young one to use their powers. After another year the young one can return to his or her family.
When the Pieczar has more than one child and if they survive their Rite of Passage they soon have another challenge to face-- Who will carry on after their predicessor? Who was born first is completly meaningless in this decision. A duel between to two siblings takes place and the victor will be the next Pieczar.

Cool! Thanks! On top of me liking the concept I figured I'd get some oohs! and ahh!. I started a stroy about Mon*Star's survival time. Look in you e-mail box.

Wow that's a much better idea for Mon*Star's origins than I thought.

Glad you liked it. I'm not sure if you read these over in New Hawk Haven, so I'm bring them to your attention. The "My Family" series are short pieces from the POV of our characters as children. I'm putting this here because I did Zorvakh and Anissina. The pieces are in alphabetical order. Anissina starts and Zrovakh finshes.
