Battles in space
I'v noticed under the realspace space section you said you didn't know how to fight in realspace and wel I know how to fight in space(kinda). I've read the BFG Codex(A while ago). I've also read Warriers of Ultramar(witch has one space battle) and the Shadow point(Lots of space battle).

Re: Battles in space
i dont really think reading a novel with space fighting wil lhelp all that much (warriors of ultramar, shadowpoint), we need a rule system to base on. but if youve red the BFG book, that could help. I have a friend with it, so if you could PM me with all you know, i can get my friend to fill in the blanks, and me and Tarancloud can work on a system for the board thanks for the help, stratigo.

Re: Battles in space
A space battle would no different than a normal fight in an rp. Just a difference on a matter of scale. Your ship would be big and slower, but it could take more hits. You might be able to come up with a list of ships and like speed stats damage, fire power ect. Other wise moving and shooting would be the same. A mod could control like rocks in the area. Just my 2 cents.
Re: Battles in space
I think we'll need a rule system for space battles. Unlike ground battling space battles tend to be massive and complex affairs. Just saying that every turn you lost a few ships wouldn't work as everyone would try to use the system to their advantage. Or maybe I'm too jaded. Anyway if you could supply us with the information on Battle Fleet Gothic it would be a great help, and your name would go on it, of course.
I think there might be some stuff about BFG floating around the official GW site and Specialist Games. I'll go check it out.
EDIT: I just checked it out. It has full information on Imperial, Chaos, Eldar and Ork ships. We still need the others. I'll start Copy+Pasting info into the Races, Places, and Maps.
