I've not personally played it yet but yeah I've seen the game.

Chopper fans should rejoice cause they come with little meters that helps you set your altitude so you won't tip over like an upside-down pizza pie. Also, all aircraft has the capability to fly further than the map boundary. Well, not entirely endless lands, just different borders for them. So, air-to-air combat can be pretty nasty.

Did I mention that Choppers also have counter-measures for rocket launchers? :)
