Awsome Kids' Crafts Templates
Has anyone been on this site www.verybestkids.com??? There are some great templates for all sorts of crafts and activites for kids… I just had to share… For my daughter's first back to school we made a Back to School Calendar so we can countdown the days... Time flies by so fast...

I haven't been there - but will check it out. I have been a Girl Scout leader for many years and am always on the lookout for kid crafts. Particularly those that are "portable" and can be easily taken to a campsite and completed - typically "low tech" projects. My favorite one was to take a fish (yes that's right - a real fish that you caught) roll it with paint (latex house paint works great) and then press it to imprint on a T-Shirt - very cool effect.
FYI - I work for a company that makes cordless tools and has just introduced a cordless glue gun (low temp so safe for kids!) Check it out if you use a glue gun - www.coldheat.com
I think it's awesome. I can't tell you haw many glue burns I've had over the years!
