Subject: New Duty Schedule among other things.
All right everyone, I'm back as you can see. If you wish to speak with me and it is not duty related, please contact me during my off hours, other wise I will be in my office if needed.
Now on to business at hand.
If you want a day off, notify me a week in advance. Only Family emergencies or Health problems will be accepted. For health issues, you WILL be checked out by Nurse Mavis and put on Inactive Duty for the duration.(Sorry, hangovers and soreness from too much sex is not a ligitamate excuse.)
Please try to keep any personal calls while on duty to a minimum. If you do have to make a call, LOG IT!(Bluegrass, Keep your long distance calls to Jade during your off duty hours, we are not a Communications company.)
If you have an office, DO NOT use it for personal entertainment or parties. You have private quarters for that, use them.(You know who you are. Those sounds I heard as I passed your office was a bit much more then I wanted to know, thank you. Though I did find it amusing in a way. Now I believe what I was told.)
KP duty. Everyone hates it. Everyone will have one shift a week dealing with it. Myself and the Commander included. There will be no trading of duty shifts to avoid it. Since there are now enough 'Hawks, I will be scheduling it in pairs. That way no one is doing more then their share.(No 'Playing' during KP duty, You know who you are. And MoonStryker, contrary to what you think, your previous stints at KP duty does not qualfy as harrasment from a commanding Officer. KP has always been one of the forms of punishment for infractions. If you keep your mouth shut, you only have to do your once a week KP Duty)
And last but not least, I will be starting the Rank evaluations soon. I know some of you are at the top of your rank and either do not wish to go any higher or can't go any higher. But if you wish to try for a promotion, let me know and I will get you the needed information.(Going to try for it again MoonStryker? How many times will this be? And if you do make it, how long will you keep it this time?)
You know where I'm at if you have any problems. Leave a message, call me or just plain stop by. My office door will be open, and I will accept you stopping by on my off hours to discuss any problems you may be having.
L.T., so glad you're back and everything and in charge, but I have to ask you one little question about the new duty schedule...ARE YOU INSANE!? EVERYONE DOING KP DUTY?! L.T., I know you're trying to be fair, BUT EVERYONE?! Me, I can handle KP as always and I'm sure half of the unit can get through the once-a-week KP, too...it's the fact SAPPHIRE'S gotta do it that worries me. Do you have any idea how bad it would get?! Trust me, Seska is about THE WORST COOK IN THE UNIVERSE! One time, she cooked for her adopted family and nearly poisoned the whole household! Everything she does in the kitchen is a total disaster! Burnt food, mixed-up ingredients, you name it! I tried teaching her how to cook once only to nearly become a bad plate of parrot shish kabob! And while I have the feeling that my solemn request to excuse Sapphire from any KP duty will fall on deaf ears, I feel that I must vent out my frustrations. So, if you refuse this little thing, don't come crying to me when you get poisoned! I'm sure we could at least save her cooking for the armory anyways...
