Pack you wish to join: Diabolical Core
Today was warm, sultry, but none-the-less enjoyable. Cyne basically felt apathy. Nothing. Instead she was just looking. Nothing more, nothing less. She could only hope this would become her new pack, with all it's delights and even probably strife. That was life though. Many times a door would shut, and a new window would blow a breeze in. She was forced to jump out of the window awhile ago, simply because the other pack rejected her. This was her only, and last hope. If they too didn't find her odd mixture of colors, and even personalities acceptable, so be it.
Brushing up against the tip of a pine, only then did she realize that they may not accept her. She was just a wolf, with green eyes. There really wasn't anything unique about her. She didn't have any talents, aptness, or anything that stood out so that she would be worthy. In the end, she wouldn't leave without atleast reasoning with them. If they didn't want her, fine. She could survive as a loner. She had arrived here after many long, and tiring miles. At first, her other pack declined her, and all she could do was sulk about it. Wandering and draining herself in sorrow. But then those beasts. They captured her, drugged her, and confined her in a mere wooden box. She would be a good hunter, they supposed. Grab them a bite to eat. After loading her on a ship, they brought her here. The compass had gone off track, and instead of reaching their destination, they were tossed here.
It took weeks to gnaw through the bars, but atlast escaped. In the dark of the night, she abandoned the dreaded box, and the humans. Left them to die of starvation. If she could prove to herself that she could get out of there, didn't she have atleast somewhat of a chance? The alphas would have to realize she'd be struggling on her own without them. She'd someday collapse, and leave her carcass to rot in the burning sun. She'd make them pay.
Cyne, you can do this. You're not as bad as you make yourself seem. We've got to have the least bit of hope. Yes. Many called her paranoid and depressed. The formal may have a slightest ounce of truth, but the latter did not. Let's do this.Edited by: Phoenix Ash at: 4/5/04 5:24 pm

ooc. Don't worry your post is good. Woah, alot of ice wolfies are joining now... o_o
bic.
The day grew hot, the yellow sun looking down on the lands. The snow was melting quick this year. And this is when mating season is going to start, and I still have not found a mate... We need more members in the pack, and pups will help. Yet, I would rather have only two pairs have pups not one or three, two and only two. Strange thing is, evenn though this is the wolves' mating season, some would choose to have pups in different times of the season. Wried, yes I know... Kalm thought to himself, he didn't mind the fact that he didn't find a mate yet. He didn't mind at all. His life would be the same with or without a mate, would it not?
The warm wind blew towards Kalm, his head in the air sniffing it. Ahhh, a new loner has come apon these lands, ne? Kalm then chuckled to himself, it was one of his most favorite time of the day, making the new wolves on these lands scared of others. It was just a plain hobby, even when Kalm was a lone wolf he was like that. He never acted like that to his family members though, only his brothers and other sisters... All but one, his favorite sister. He has no clue where she could be... She was the youngest out of all of his mother's first litter, and he was the oldest out of all of them. Kalm than sighed as a got off the hill that was in the mutual lands.
As Kalm hopped off the hill and ran down it in a peaceful looking way, he sighed. This day may be a good one compared to his other days in these lands. He didn't know how to explain it, but he just had a feeling it was going to be fun. His red eyes shinned with excitment. He couldn't wait to get near the creek. As he ran toward the territory borders, he lefted his head up high in the ait sniffing for more information about this wolf. This wolf is a wolfess, no? Well we do need more females in this pack. Her scent tells me that she is young and was left here by humans. I never seen humans in my life, but I sure heard about those two-legged creatures... It is strange, how can they survive on two legs? The world works in strange ways, yes it does... Kalm than lowered his head once again.
Kalm than finally got to the creek. The sound of the running water made him calm down. Kalm then lefted up his head high and looked at the female, her pelt was a strange color. It had brown, white, grey, and black on it. It caught him off guard, but he ignored it and focused on how was the female's health. She seemed to be doing just fine. "I am Kalm, alpha male of Diabolical Core. What is your alias and your bussiness here on these lands? Kalm asked the wolfess in a harsh voice, waiting for her reply.
Re: Blast?
Ah thanks. Today's should be a bit improved. And, a change of colors. xD
"I am Kalm, alpha male of Diabolical Core. What is your alias and your business here on these lands?" So, he was the Alpha? He certainly wasn't what she expected, quite the contary infact. She observered his features, black fur, piercing crimson eyes. Yet, when they both were compared in outside characteristics, she was too contrasting to even say one word about it. Mostly a coper tint of brown, and an peculiar hue of gray. Spoltched in black, that was the basic image of her.
His words were so, offical. Serious. Alias? Business? Did she look that formal to him? He was harsh, in a repugnant sort of tone? This was the part she was not fond of. Submissing to him, and succumbing to the wolf standards. Quickly tucking her tail beneath her, she participated in a, what many would call, a staring contest. Or, atleast, she started it. So, her bowing to him wasn't exactly, "sincere," but nor was his way of greeting her. "Nice to meet you to." Chances are, he didn't hear her smart-alick comment, and it was for the best. But, Cyne wouldn't let her frustration with the wolf named..Kalm stay in hold forever.
"Kalm eh? I'm Cyne. I only came here to join your pack. It is the only thing around here closest to hospitality. Put in other words, I have no other options but to join your pack, or rot and be swarmed by carnivorus animals. " Only after she finished speaking did she realize the bluntness of herself, but, that too figured it was for the better. WHy bother with all the bullshit and take your good time, or cut right to the chase? More pines engulfed her slender body as she made her way forward. He probably thought of her a strange, atypical. Fine by her. He could just find out who she was from the beginning.
She watched the well-built male, eyes intent on his every move. The creek that stood between them was the only thing seperating the two. So, it was his turn once more. She claimed who she was, and what she wanted. That was the meat of everything, now, what other fine-tuning did he want?
