Anyone interested in helping?
Hi, I am new to these boards and have a question to ask. I am a graduate student at and am preparing to do my master's thesis. I am researching weight loss and whether or not dieting truly just leads to obesity. With the health issues facing a majority of people in the USA because of the prevalance of obesity, I am interested in finding individuals who may have been the unhappy participants in what is frequently known as yo-yo dieting. If you are one of those individuals and would be willing to assist me in my gathering of research data for my thesis I would appreciate hearing from you. Data will be collected via US Mail in the form of my sending you a survey to complete and then return in prepaid envelopes. The actual collection of this data will not occur until next spring, however I am attempting to build my database of willing subjects.
I appreciate your time in reading this post and hope that if you qualify as one who has gone through the up and down process of weight losses and gains that you would consider being a part of this research project.
