Anyone concidering dealing with Cyclemall.net:
DON'T!
Well here is my opinion of Frank @ cyclemall:
He's a "FUCKING ASSHOLE"!
Why?
Well as some of you my know by my post on the incorrect installation instructions supplied with "some" PC-II's (this was posted in the new forum). I purchased a PC-II from cyclemall for two reasons; 1) good price, 2) forum member.
I just called Calf. to speak with Frank regarding the subsaquent damages incured by hooking the PC-II up to the wrong harness due to the misprint in install manual which caused flooding of my cylinders (hydrolocking) from a wide open throttle body. Resulting in 2 oil & filter changes as a result of the improper mounting instructions supplied with the unit.
These are some of Frank's remarks:
1) "I have a XX". - So what; your bike model has nothing to do with the error!
2) "I feel for you; but what do you want me to do"? - How about call the people you bought it from (K&N) and fight for me to get some sort of credit!
3) "I don't take back electrical products" - I didn't want to return the unit; I got it all straightened out. I do think it is obserd to make this remark, cocidering that I explained to him (Frank) that the problem wasn't in the PC-II; it was in the instructions!
4) "How much money do you think I have"? - "And how much money do you think K&N has"? - Well all I know is, I spent the money - He made the money and I would like to deal with a distributor/dealer who stands behind the products they sell.
Then the conversation got a little heated as I told Frank that it was o.k. - I'll eat the money for the two oil & filter changes and just advise all the forum members of his policy, and general "I feel for you, but I ain't going to do a damn for you" attitude.
I want all who read this to understand that I didn't want something for nothing; I didn't want to be refunded for the PC, all I wanted was someone to work with me to get a settlement; possibly some oil & filters would have ended the whole deal - but "NO" - Frank had to go and be a complete "FUCKING ASSHOLE" about the whole thing.
I am sure he will appear on this forum to shade this to his point of view; but all I can say is this:
Cyclemall.net (Frank) is not a dealer who will stand behind you when you have a problem. There are too many good distributors out there to deal with, why take a chance with your hard erned money!
I would rather pay more money that ever deal with this guy again!
