Hi! My ex-girlfriend sent me an email with this in it... whenever she wrote to me in Swedish it was something she wanted to tell me but couldn't, so I am guessing this is something important. I never had the guts to ask her about it tho... I know there has been no replies on this board for 3 months, but anything is worth a try! Those automatic translators left me more confused than the swedish! So please, if anyone can help me out on this one, it would be greatly appreciated... Thank you!

Please help I am writing a book on my family. I want to tell about my husband's Grandfather.
He was from Sweden and when all the grandchildren were sitting around the dinner table talking too much instead of eating he would say to them in swedish
"Let the food keep your mouth's shut"
