Another Wasted Effort in Atlanta
28 runs against in 2 games. This bullpen is horrible! On the plus side, nice to see the big guns hitting well early on. I say we get 3 of 4 in PR against the Spos.

Re: Another Wasted Effort in Atlanta
Well. if Atlanta showed me anything, it showed that our pitching could be better. I had flashbacks of last year watching the pitching and relievers. And who would have thought that Tommy G would be the best of our Pitchers in Atlanta after what happened last year. But it also made me stop and think that Atanta is not going to dominate this year in the NL East. Geez, the scores of the games were more like football scores then baseball scores. At least the Mets were scoring runs, but unfortunately the Braves scored more.

Re: Another Wasted Effort in Atlanta
and after a 3-2 extra innings win last night, in 4 games played, the met have had 2 well pitched and 2 poorly pitched games, and in the game we had our worst offensive output, we WON the game. we stand 2-2 on the season, and despite a couple of bad pitching days and one day of putrid defense, there is still promise for the season. and if we continue winning 2 and losing 2 the rest of the way, the team will be 81-81 and most people during the offseason claimed a .500 record was an acceptable goal for this 2004 team.
