All Night DrIvE In
Post anything about this house here, especially the backstory etc.

Does anyone know who the Directors were on Wed. the Preview Night!??
They were sooooooooo cool! As we came in the Director did that
trademark "camera shot" thing w/ his fingers. U know, the rectangle
thing. He was the ONLY one i saw do it on Wed . I also had a Micheal
Myers doll i had w. me and i showed it to The Director. This
particular Director started gazing at it, then sorta petted it, then
started grabbing it from me! LOL. I go "Its mine"!, im my best crazy
person impersonation, and he says " I DONT GIVE A SHIIIII......" VERY
COOL! He was also the only Director that SPOKE as far as i know, even
though he spoke to me. He also was looked like The Director from the
commercials and ads THE MOST CLOSELY. He was just cool. THis was
around 930-10pm on Wed. Whoever he is, kudos! to a great acting job
and interaction! I'd sure like to be there again when hes there!
Also, kudos to the "Asylum Security" scareactor at PSYCHO. one w/
the check list. The one w/ the goatee and sunken in cheeks. Also very
good! Interactive and talked! Great actor!

Sideshow Bob, The All-Nite DrIvE In is based on Slasher films.SPOILERS UP AHEAD! The four villains are Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason, and Leatherface. I'm pretty sure that the Halloween house is based on Laurie Strode's place. I don't think that was the closet since it was downstairs, and in the film the closet is upstairs. It's the Strode's because you can see Michael Myers almost dying on the stairs.

It is the actual set from the Halloween movies. Just that part of the set is authentic. The rest is modeled after the sets from the movie. HHN 13 techs were VERY fortunate to have gotten that piece of the set and to be able to use it in the house.

Well he scared the CRAP out of me! In the very first scene, you walk out into a drive in movie theatre, and the director is standing right by a whole cut into the screen, he walked away when we walked by, but he came back when I was walking through and screamed stuff at us and bashed on the door, it made me jump.

All Night Drive In- I am a huge horror movie buff and I must say the amount of detail put into this house shows how much attention Universal Creative paid to the films which inspired this one. I will give nothing away about this one, but it is a must-see on your trip to HHN13. (Coolest feature: the Director)

Movie DrIvE IN. WOW! This house had the most detail of any. I think that this house scared me he most, mainly because we had to go through it by ourself. There wasnt anyone in line! But It was just really cool. It had all of the main horror films, you know excactly what they are when you walk into the rooms, VERY WELL DONE! Spoilers Beware! THe Scenes incule: Halloween (wow I really thought that I was in the house from the movie) Jasons Woods (really goos hiding spots) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (GREAT detail! The set is so real!) Freddy (WOW! THey had some great Freddy's in there!)

Yet another "must do" for me, I was really amped for it. As we
entered, we saw the director emerge thru the drive in screen. I Love
the look of his eyes, with the contacts and all. Very cool! I made
eye contact with him and he stared back and did that weird head turn
thing and proceed to do the "viewing rectangle" with his hands on us.
Nice entrance!!! As we walked into Halloweenland,past the hanging,
disorienting Jacko'lanterns, I had to stop and admire the incredible
attention to detail. I felt that I was in someone's house. Michael
Myers tapping at the window with his knife blade as we went thru the
living room only to be ambushed by another Michael Myers coming out
of a closet. Nice distraction scare! Next was I think Camp Crystal
Lake. This area had me feeling like I just walked into a movie. The
gorgeous bunk bed room with the head of Mrs. Vorhees and the candles.
WOW!!!! Along into the boiler room, Freddy greeting us with a nice
scheeching, drag of his knife glove over some pipes. Nice touch! The
glow of the boiler room was really eeire. Nice room, but not as good
and the first two. Next we go into the homestead of Mr. Ed Gein aka
Leatherface. Nice hanging animal carasses and bloody table. Is that
former guests they were dining on? The last hanging mattress room was
a next collection of sorts of all the movies, but I did not
expeirence any ping pong scares like others have reported. On our
first trip thru I was a little let down as I wlked out the exit door.
Expecting the enevitable chainsaw (come on Universal, you can see
this waiting in line. I don't think many people will forget as they
leave), we ended up seeing Mr. Leatherface with his mask up and
taking a swig of water. Come on man! I know it has gotta be hotter
then hell under that mask ,but wait to drink man! Overall, I really
liked this house, but due to a lamo ending, will not get highest
marks from me. I would have prefered coming to the end and having the
Director there filming and then he would say "CUT", and then have
Leatherface come up and proceed to saw away at you. Just a thought.
