Aldon
Aldon was led to the large purple light radiating circle in the center of the camp. A hoodlessly robes drow stood waiting as he was shoved to stand before him. The guard hissed in their language and the mage shifted his eyes slowly from the soldier to the slave, yellow eyes hard and glaring with anger.
He waited until the guard had left, sizing the child up
"so child, you say you can help me?" his voice slow, cutting and icy cold.
"you say a weakling human child can improve on our work?" he stepped around Aldon, robes brushing the boy as he walked smoothly.
"A child!" he snorted and sharply clapped his hands in the tense boys ears, the guard returned, two whips in hand.
The mage took one, and thrust the object into Aldons hands, blank leather taken from some deep creatures hide. The guard unfurled the other, staring and waiting for the boy to twitch wrongly
"Do it then boy, show us how superior your skill is to ours and if I am satisifed that you have not held any of your skill, witheld any secrets of your superior race you shall leave this circle with more than dried blood holding your flesh together."
The task was simple, create a whip using all of his skill and spells he had just boasted about or fail to create a masterpiece and recieve a beating that would leave him near to death. The wizard stepped back and waited for the show, his experienced eyes watching intently, he would know the instant he held a word or weakened a spell, the guard stepped behind the boy, whip trailing on the ground he stood ready to strike the arrogant, insolent human with the smallest of gestures.
((ooc: your call, ooc you should know they design the whips weaker than they could so you should probably be able to best them.))

Aldon was terrified, he had never been put in a situation were he had to show his Knoledge, he had a strong feeling of failure in the pit of his stomach...but if he was to survive he would have to preform well. Even if what he did would help these Evil slave drivers. cause more pain on others...Aldon had no choice it was either die or help...
Aldon clutched the whip with white knuckles, it seemed useless in his hands, very flimsy and dead....thats when he got his idea, Aldon raised his wand in his right hand and the whip in the left, he pointed to the whip and muttered one of the many charms he had learned, the whip was already well charmed but there was still room for 'improvment', Aldon shuddered as the whip sprang to life in his hands it lifted it self up and slithered around on in midair with him holding the gripp of the whip. He then added a charm for safty it was rather difficult, and then added then a charm for the whipps new 'damaging capabilities' also took many hours of practice and reading, it took him a few minuites...
He turned to face the drow and began to speak "it is done" "it now is...well alive...it has the movements of a snake" Aldon held the whip up to his arm, it immediatly struck out and wrapped around his arm...causing no damage. "I have put safty charms on it sir" "it is unable to attack its carrier" "it is also much stronger, you can lift up very heavy items with it" (((like people))) Aldon was now to show the drow what its new capabilites were, Aldon reluctantly grabbed the end of the whip now what would be the head of a black snake, the head had no eyes only a mouth...Aldon opened the mouth of the charmed object and it showed many manny rows of razor sharp teath, Aldon knew what they would be used for, to cut the flesh of the many students who were now slaves. He figured that the speed the whips could now travel would make these extreamly painful...he felt like crying...he felt like a tratior "they are faster". "The charm to bring the whip alive was read from the library of Godric Gryffindor" Aldon was probobly the only one to have read that book..."The charm was unique...and very stable and strong". Aldon also knew why he had picked the snake, he had seen the statue of Salazar Slytherin...and hoped it had some meaning to the dark elves....
Aldon told him all and hoped that he was at least in the littlest way pleased...

The wizard watched with mild interest, it was an innovetive idea this boy had had, innovative and good work. He was satisfied with the result.
"Give me the whip" He demanded in that ever cold, hating voice. He took it and inspected it, it could prove useful even if just this once.
The coiling around his arm annoyed, his eyes flicked to the guard and he nodded.
"Now you impudent, arrogant, pathetic fool we shall test your work." A chillingly hard gleam in putrid eyes, his mouth twisted into a cruel smile, purple light wavering acorss his face.
"Move" the guard grabbed Aldons shoulders, spinning him round, sending him stumbling to the ground thrown off balance. A booted foot kicked his side hard, sending hims sprawling acorss the ground.
Hands tore at him, dragging him to his feet, the guards hands under his arms, dragging him back to the slave pen along the ground.
The wizard walked smoothly after the boy, whip writhing in his hands, he caught the curious eyes of a squad of warriors and shouted something, cruel joy and cold anger overlapping in his voice in his voice. The warriors leaping to their feet and scurrying around to obey orders and spread the word to others who were bored.
