Achieving kyven
kyven - ky (spirit) ven (bond): a special spiritual bond between life mates and/or lovers. It’s almost like empathy or telepathy. The lovers can sense what the other is feeling even over great distances. They can also ’touch’ one another’s souls. Sort of like making love spiritually. It’s very rare for a couple to achieve kyven. It is believed that you can only achieve kyven with your one true love. Lady Baca and Master Hajin had achieved kyven. Camiel will achieve kyven with her one true love.

It's achieved intentionally through meditating with each other or unintentionally through 'dream visitation'. Both experiences can be pretty intense.

Speaking of dreams... I was wondering if you had a Mua word for 'dream' for the Chichu replacement? I chose that word because, of course, that's how she came to me.

When the two lovers 'get together' in each other's dreams. It's not like normal dreaming where you just dream about each other. They actually share the same dream. Sort of like soul touching, but while you're asleep.

Sumar akit is the Mua term for 'dream visitation.' Sumar gom is the 'dream touch.' Ku gom is the 'soul touch.' Just a note so you'll know what Cami is talking about later on in "Love Quest."

The kyven bond is sealed the first time the couple makes love. Soul touching: it's similar to telepathy. They touch each other with their thoughts. You know, to let the other knw they are on his/her mind. Dream touching is about the same but in their sleep.
So things are a little loose, now. Is it posssible for soul touching and dream touching to be active before the kyven bond is sealed? After the sealing, will there be more control? Sorry for babbling...

Yeah, it's possible. In fact, Cami and Sh'Ekrah have already been doing that. It's hinted at in Love Quest.

Okay, I get that, but do the strengths and control of the soul touch, dream touch and dream visitation vary between an unsealed bond and sealed bond?
