Something is amiss.
The Muggle Prime Minister has told the public not to worry, that the recent spates of disappearances and explosions in and around London are merely terrorist attacks. He has told England to stand united and wait out the assaults, for the trouble is sure to cease before long. But why are there never any eye-witnesses? Why are people suddenly losing large portions of their memories? And why does the Prime Minister have a permanently blank, glassy stare?
Welcome to a world where pure ancestry is prized above all else, where Muggle-borns are banned from Wizarding bars, shops and hotels, where a slip of the tongue or a step out of line could cost you your life, and where Azkaban is no longer full of Death Eaters, but bursting with Order members, Aurors and other such “recusants”.
