A new gal!
Hi all, my name is Cathy and I'm new to the site! Today is my first day with Darrin's program and I feel excited and focused! I have just completed 2 triathlon's this summer, have run 2 half marathons and have weight lifted in the past. I am not new to exercise! Although my body does not reflect the active lifestyle that I live. I know that I will reach my goals following this wonderful program and I am very happy to be hitting the weights again, it feels right! I can't wait to read all of the posts, I'm sure it will take me some time to get through them all though. Anyway, talk to you all soon, and Darrin, thank you for giving me hope.
Cathy

Re: Hi Cathy
Thank you very much for the encouragement Aluschka! I am looking very forward to sharing my accomplishments with everyone! I'm also excited about getting to know everyone and here (read) everyone's stories! Very inspiring messages and its so helpful to have people to share the ups and downs with.
Have a great one!

Re: A new gal!
Hi, Cathy! So very nice to see yet another face here ready to work towards a meaningful goal. I absolutley LOVE your sign-on name BTW. It reminds me of the self-talk I often have with myself - "Patience butterfly" I tell myself when I am getting a little ancy.
You sound quite accomplished in your past goals. Very nice! I look forward to learning more about you and following your journey!
Re: A new gal!
Hi Rena, thank you very much. I still am having some challenges getting to all of the boards, but am looking forward to learning everyone's stories.
I love butterflies. They are a symbol of hope and faith to me.
Everyone sounds so nice and encouraging! Just what we all need!
Re: A new gal!
As usual I can't see the pic But I went to check it out at Emerge photos Runners fascinate me,honestly. I feel like a fish that has been chucked outta water. Sucking for air, rolling me eyes..you name it You looks sooooo comfortable running+ you smile Are you mad or something
I have just finished sprinting programs that lasted 10 weeks...OMG. First two weeks I nearly died, then it got a bit better an dlast two weeks I wanted to cry everytime I stepped on that bloody treadmill But I am stubborn and wanted to prove myself that I can do it+ I wanted to see if it will lean me out further.Unfortunatelly not but the good thing is I am fit as fiddle
Re: A new gal!
Thanks again Alushcka! I really enjoy running and doing the triathlon was the most amazing rush. I have the very best running buddy, although we won't be running too much right now.
I am really enjoying the program, finding that I forgot how much I love being sore from weight lifting! LOL, thanks Darrin.
I am having a problem opening all the pics too, will have to figure that out.
