A letter sent by hawk to Ariyana Sune... Dearest Ariyana, The goddess' blessings be upon you. You and I are old friend's and have weathered foul times and fair. Ne'er before have we been in conflict nor do I wish to be now. The BloodGuard are reforming under my banner, and under the auspices of the Warriors of Light and Darkness. Times of late have shown that the direction of the realm has strayed. I was saddened when the Coven was declared an enemy of the State. I don't believe that your defense of your home against the oppression that has arisen in the name of Order is just. We pray to the light of the same waxxing moon, you and I. But your affiliation with the Collective of Shadows distress' me. The Drow are an evil lot and I need say nothing to you of the followers of Mondain. The Atalan are militaristic and seek to enslave the populace. What, my dear, brought you to stand shoulder to shoulder with such as these? The BloodGuard will rally to our old cry, "Above All, Compassion and Valor!" Virtue is a boon in the lives of men and women who seek freedom and stability. The BloodGuard will serve Virtue as they have always done, and pain me as it will, should you and your Collective, or any force for that matter, stand against us, I will order that blade be bared to defend our goals. The meek deserve no less than the noble. To this we used to agree, have you changed so much that we must come to this dangerous road? I ask that you stand down should my BloodGuard ask it of you. You know I serve no higher master than the truth of who I am. You and your Coven will always hold a place of respect at my table. Only you can sully the Honor I hold in our friendship. The times are changing, let this be a new beginning for all of Sosaria.
